Will-I-Am To Release Another Solo Album

The Black Eyed Peas might be taking a break, but frontman Will-I-Am isn’t slowing down.

The 36-year-old singer will be hoping for some luck, unlike with his 2007 poorly received sophomore album ‘Songs About Girls’, when he once again venture into a solo project this coming year. Will-I-Am’s third studio album will be titled ‘#willpower’.

The album’s maiden single ‘T.H.E’ — short for The Hardest Ever — will debut this Sunday (20 November), when he performs it live at the American Music Awards. ‘American Idol‘ judge Jennifer Lopez and legendary rocker Mick Jagger, both make a cameo on the song.

The recently released artwork for the song features a bearded Will-I-Am, who sports his signature funky haircut, standing tall in the middle of a rustic racecourse and appareled in white racing attire.

All The Fashion From 2011 Kids’ Choice Awards

The 2011 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards took place on Saturday,02 April at USC Galen Center in Los Angeles. The awards were hosted by funny man Jack Black. The Black Eyed Peas and Willow Smith lit up the stage with their performances. Big winners on the night included Justin Bieber, Johnny Depp and Katy Perry.

While it was cool to keep guessing who was going to get slimed next during the live show, it is the fashion on the orange carpet that got us all fired up. As it is the Kids’ Choice Awards most of the looks were relaxed and casual. While some stood out in the best-dressed category, no one really stood out in the worst-dressed category. Meaning almost everyone looked pretty decent. Check some of the favourites below:

Showing us why they are everyone’s favourite hotel heiresses Nicky and Paris Hilton looked fashionable at this year Kids’ Choice Awards. Nicky wore a lacy Proenza Schouler bustier minidress, while older sister Paris paired her glamorous ivory dress with a spring 2011 Christian Louboutin Pigalle Clutch

Actress Selena Gomez proved that you can look elegant, yet fun in this Christian Cota white shorts. She brightened the look up with light blue t-strap buckle Camilla Skovgaard heels

This here screams hot mama. Heidi Klum looked absolutely gorgeous on the orange carpet in this black embellished Gucci dress with matching shoes.

A toned-down look for “The Pretty Reckless” rocker Taylor Momsen, but she still looks badass. The former “Gossip Girl” star opted for a cropped leather jacket and tight pants, with her best accessory being an edgy neck choker. Take a load of her super-high inch platform shoes. Her blonde locks and goth make-up look hot too

As usual will-i-am went for the Christmas tree look. One doesn’t know where to look first. It’s a futuristic look maybe. The only thing he did manage to get right were those Christian Louboutin studded loafers

The Kardashian klan made it an almost family affair at the Kids’ Choice Awards. Kim and younger sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner played in simple in nude colours, while older sister Kourtney brought a ray of colour in a red floor-length gown

If there was one person who stole the orange carpet at the 2011 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards it has to be Miley Cyrus. The singer/actress looked all grown up and glam in this boho chic floral Dolce & Gabbana dress. Miley also won Favourite Movie Actress for her role in “The Last Song”

Should a 10-year-old even be considered a fashion icon?! Well Willow Smith is – for her peers anywhere. The singer looked adorable in this gold shimmering ensemble, with her cute gladiator sandals. Brother Jaden Smith oozed complete swag too

Modern Family star Sofia Vergara went for a complete casual look with skinny jeans, a flowy top and peep toe pumps. Very sexy

 

Britney Spears Stage Her Comeback Live Performance

What a lucky crowd. Britney Spears just staged her comeback Live performance at the Rain Nightclub in Palms Casino Resort, Las Vegas, the same club she made that unannounced performance back in 2003.

Judging by the flirtatious outfits, sexy dancers and cuddly set-up Brit Brit didn’t disappoint. According to reports the pop princess accompanied by her male dancers wore sequined leotards for her first performance of the night, for which she sang lead single “Hold it Against Me”.

For her second act, Britney set the crowd screaming as she emerged from a speaker box wearing a latex bodysuit to debut the Will-i-Am produced “Big Fat Bass”. As Britney paraded herself around the stage in a sexy dance choreography, the song was remixed to include a medley of past hits “3”, “Slave 4 You” and “Gimme More”.

To end the night, Britney showed-off her curves some more as she yet again opted for black and red leotards as she performed her current single “Till The World Ends”.

The show was filmed by MTV, and will exclusively be aired next week in celebration of the release of Britney’s seventh studio album “Femme Fatale”

 

Black Eyed Peas rock the Superbowl

The Black Eyed Peas descent from the roof ready to rock.

The Black Eyed Peas rocked the 2011 Superbowl to deliver one of the best halftime show performances ever with their hit-packed medley.
As soon as the foursome emerged from the ceiling on illuminated platforms onto the stage, singing their 2009 hit “I Gotta Feeling”, shivers ran down my spine and I got the feeling that this was going to be a cracker.

Although the singing was a bit off key here and there, the fantastic lighting and dancing, especially those jumpsuit illuminated dancers, made up for it. Overall it was a well choreographed set, thus resulting in a feast for the eyes.

Then there was that surprise appearance by Guns N Roses’ Slash, who Joined the Peas’ lead female vocalist Fergie for a “Sweet Child O’ Mine” duet. R&B singer Usher also made an appearance in an all white ensemble. Usher performed his 2010 smash “OMG”, in which he partnered with the Peas’ Will-I-Am.
