Yesterday, we got a first look at English goddess Carey Mulligan on the retro cover of the May issue of US Vogue magazine (Checkout the cover here). Now, take a close look at the 27-year-old actress’ 1920s glamour editorial, shot by famed lensman Mario Testino. Styled by Grace Coddington, Carey looks pretty in breathtaking creations from Chanel, Dior, Alexander McQueen, Miu Miu, Nina Ricci and Oscar de la Renta.
‘The Great Gatsby‘ leading lady shares with the magazine how she thinks the audience will react to the big screen adaptation of the classic F. Scott Fitzgerald novel.
“I’m fully prepared to be completely ripped apart. Well, I’m not prepared; that’s the thing. I don’t want to be torn apart. We’ve all just tried something; we had fun, and we tried to do something interesting and exciting, something that people could connect with”, Carey points out to Vogue.
