Over the weekend we got a glimpse of multiple Grammy-winning songstress Adele on the cover of the March issue of US Vogue magazine (Checkout the cover here). Now head below for a look at the ‘Rolling In The Deep‘ beauty rocking designs by Yves Saint Laurent, Dolce & Gabbana, Tom Ford, Oscar De La Renta and more in her gorgeous editorial, shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott.
Here are some highlights from the 23-year-old’s interview with the magazine.
ON HER FUTURE PLANS: “I am f***** off for four or five years. If I am constantly working, my relationships fail. So at least now I can have enough time to write a happy record. And be in love and be happy. And then I don’t know what I’ll do. Get married. Have some kids. Plant a nice vegetable patch”.
ON HER 37-YEAR-OLD FORMER INVESTMENT BROKER BOYFRIEND SIMON KONECKI: “He’s wonderful. And he’s proud of me, but he don’t care about what I do or what other people think. He looks after me. I don’t think I would have gotten through the recovery for my surgery if it hadn’t been for him”.
ON ALWAYS GETTING NERVOUS BEFORE A LIVE PERFORMANCE: “You can see the fear behind my eyes. The first TV show I ever did was … with Jools Holland, when I was eighteen, and I was sandwiched between Björk and Paul McCartney. And the fear in my eyes is exactly the same fear that’s in my eyes when I come on singing now. The more records I sell and the bigger this all gets, the bigger the shows get. It’s like a vicious cycle”.
ON DOING RED CARPET EVENTS: “I hate the red carpet. I don’t feel insecure, I just feel like, Oh, I don’t want to do this. I literally get a stomach cramp. At the VMA’s last year I felt really out of my comfort zone because there were so many superstars there. But that’s been the case from day one. I never feel like, Oh, yeah, I should be here. And I was
missing my best friend’s hen night”.
ON HAVING THROAT SURGERY LATE LAST YEAR: “I’ve been singing properly every day since I was about fifteen or sixteen. and I have never had any problems with my voice, ever. I’ve had a sore throat here and there, had a cold and sung through it, but that day it just went while I was onstage in Paris during a radio show. It was literally like someone had pulled a curtain over it. I knew my voice was in trouble and obviously I cried a lot. But crying is really bad for your vocal cords, too!”.

Following her ‘Best New Artist’ MTV Video Music Awards nomination, new kid on the block Kreayshawn’s star is beginning to take off.
The 21-year-old controversial hipster rapper, with an uncanny resemblance to Amy Winehouse, covers the October/November issue of Complex magazine.
The high school drop-out talks to the magazine about her much publicized diss towards rapper Rick Ross, in which on one occasion she was caught on V-Nasty’s live Ustream making fun of the Miami rapper’s weight (“I bet you five dollars Rick Ross can’t find his dick”).
“I didn’t know that we were still on Ustream. It was just me goofing off with friends. I don’t have any problems [with Rick Ross], but I can see how it looks that way”, Kreayshawn tells Complex.

As the battle for top diva of 2011 continues between pop princess Britney Spears and her counterpart Lady Gaga, it appears that both ladies have sanctioned renowned music video director Jonas Akerlund into the fray.
The Swedish director has landed his hand to both the debut music videos of the singers forthcoming albums.
In January Spears took to her twitter page and revealed that she was working with Akerlund and that the video was going to be a dance phenomenal. “Dance, dance, and more dance. Getting ready to shoot the video for HIAM (Hold It Against Me) this week with Jonas Akerlund”, Spears tweeted.
On day one of the shoot for the video she cited again on her twitter page that this was going to be one of the best videos she has ever done.
Now in the latest details to emerge about Gaga’s music video for “Born This Way” is that the singer has once again hooked up with long time contributor Akerlund on the video for her song too. The hush-hush video is said to have been shot in Gaga’s hometown of New York, over a period of four days. Apparently the video pays a lot of homage to the gay community, which will only be fitting since the lyrics of the song focus of equality.
Akerlund is best know for directing the video for Madonna’s “Ray of Light”, which went on to clinch a record breaking 7 MTV Music Video Awards – including Video Of The Year – in 1998. Recently he directed the critically acclaimed video for Gaga’s “Telephone”.
Spears today revealed that her video will make its debut on Thursday, 17 February. The video will get its world premiere on MTV, just before a new episode of Jersey Shore, while simultaneously showing on MTV.Com . “Feb. 17th…9:56 PM…MTV….The WORLD PREMIERE of the Hold It Against Me video…directed by Jonas Akerlund”, Spears tweeted on Tuesday.
To get fans excited for the premiere Spears has been revealing short teasers of the video since Thursday and has promised to disclose 14 previews in total by the time the video debut. To date the singer has released five clips. Spears seventh studio album titled “Femme Fatale” has been pushed back to a 29 March release from the originally planned 15 March release date.
Moreover, Gaga announced yesterday that the world will finally get to hear her much anticipated freshman single “Born This Way” on Friday, and not on Sunday as originally intended. “Can’t wait any longer, single coming Friday”, Gaga tweeted.
