Hollywood A-Listers came out in big numbers last night (07 May), all in the name of fashion, to celebrate the 2012 Costume Institute Gala (Met Ball). Held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, the event was co-chaired by British actress Carey Mulligan, designer Miuccia Prada, and US Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour. This year’s event honoured Prada and late Italian designer Elsa Schiaparelli.

The ‘Born To Die’ singer talks to the magazine about how she has been dealing with her overnight success.
“You talk about all these things that have happened to me in this short space of time, but the one thing that has really changed is that I now have an audience. I turn up in Glasgow or Manchester or Amsterdam and there are good people waving at me from the crowd. That’s amazing”, Lana points out to V.
