The 52-year-old ageless beauty talks unconventional beauty with the magazine.
“Being beautiful was never really something I associated with people I knew —certainly not girls. Boys, maybe. Horses, yes, and certainly my great-grandmother Elsie Swinton, whose imperial grandeur was like a watermark”, Tilda tells W.
For her dramatic and high-fashion editorial, styled by Jacob K and photographed by noted Tim Walker, the ‘Only Lovers Left Alive‘ star dons avant-garde designs from Gucci, Alexander McQueen, Rick Owens, Louis Vuitton, Vera Wang, Maison Martin Margiela, Azzedine Alaia, Balmain, Acne, Prada, Celine, Armani, Rochas, Max Mara, Mary Katrantzou, Francesco Scognamiglio, Haider Ackermann, Ann Demeulemeester and Givenchy.

Anne shares with the magazine on how much she loves her short hairdo.
“I love the short-haired lifestyle. It’s awesome that I was able to go for a hike right before I came here to meet you, quickly wash my hair, and now it’s dry… But I’m turning 30, and — I hope this isn’t obnoxious to say — I feel prettier, and much more myself. I guess I just feel much more satisfied with less now”, Anne explains to Vogue.
For her single editorial, taken in the field and styled by Tonne Goodman, Anne wears a Ralph Lauren gold embroidered vest, blouse and pants. She also dons a Valentino velvet couture gown.

The group editorial, features the ensemble cast of the Tom Hooper-directed film, in character and styled in 19th century-inspired costumes by Paco Delgado.

I like to make my husband like me more and he likes it when I’m wearing makeup”, Gwen shares with Bazaar.
For her high-fashion editorial below, Gwen gets styled in pieces by Alexander McQueen, Versace, Oscar De La Renta, The Row, Yves Saint Laurent, Diane Von Furstenberg and Vera Wang.

As award season sadly drew to an end, all roads led to the Kodak Theatre in California for the 84th Annual Academy Awards on Sunday (26 February). Legendary actress Meryl Streep finally broke her 30-year curse on the night, by winning her 3rd Oscar for her portrayal of Margaret Thatcher in ‘The Iron Lady‘. But it was silent film ‘The Artist‘ which made history by becoming only the first silent film to win ‘Best Picture’, since the ‘Wings’ did so during the awards’ inception 83 years ago. ‘The Artist’ also won Michel Hazanavicius ‘Best Director’ and French heartthrob Jean Dujardin ‘Best Actor.
In true Oscar style, the red carpet did not disappoint, many stars dared to take risks. Head below to checkout if those risks worked in their favour or against:
Glenn Close showed some cleavege in a Zac Posen strapless gown, but kept it age appropriate with a matching jacket.
Meryl Streep knew way before everyone that she was going to strike gold on the night, thus she opted for a gold Lanvin dress.
BEST-DRESSED: Pixie-haired Michelle Williams gave us the most fashion forward look in her retro-meet-modern burnt orange Louis Vuitton gown, with a peplum skirt.
WORST-DRESSED: Penelope Cruz got it all wrong in her Armani off-the-shoulder frock. Too matronly.
Rocking her natural her, Viola Davis added a pop of colour on the red carpet in an emerald green Vera Wang corset gown.

The crème de la crème of Tinseltown came out in huge numbers last night (15 January), in celebration of the 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in California. The Oscar race for ‘Best Actress’ got interesting and more intense on the night, with the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) awarding Michelle Williams ‘Best Actress Musical/Comedy’ and Meryl Streep ‘Best Actress Drama’. The two lovely ladies were of course bested by ‘The Help‘ star Viola Davis at the Critics Choice Awards a few days ago. However, if there is one thing the HFPA and Broadcast Film Critics Association agree on is that George Clooney, Octavia Spencer and ‘The Artist‘ should win ‘Best Actor’, ‘Best Supporting Actress’ and ‘Best Picture’ respectively.
Now to the more exciting stuff. Checkout who wore what at the event:
Jessica Chastain kept it simple and elegant in white Givenchy. She could have been best-dressed with a different and more flattering hairdo.
WORST-DRESSED: Queen of pop Madonna failed to impress in this frumpy dark green embroidered Reem Acra gown.
With her granny-esque hair in a classy bun, Kelly Osbourne looked ravishing in a blue Zac Posen gown
BEST-DRESSED: Golden Globe winner Michelle Williams looked effortlessly chic in a velvet longsleeve Jason Wu dress, complete with an adorable headband.
WORST-DRESSED: Sarah Michelle Gellar looked ready to walk down the aisle in this Monique Lhuillier paint-splatter ball gown.
‘Glee‘ starlet Lea Michele‘s love affair with Marchesa continued, this time opting for an antique embroidered illusion dress.

We are so used to seeing girl-of-the-moment Rooney Mara styled in an edgy manner, so much so that one has to do a double take to ensure that it’s really her on the cover of the January issue of Allure.
‘The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo‘ star graces the magazine’s year opener edition, refreshingly styled in a very soft and elegant way. Photographed by Michael Thompson, the 26-year-old actress looks like Demi Moore with slicked-back hair.
Rooney sheds some light on why director David Fincher went with an unknown person for the role of Lisbeth Salander.
“I don’t think David’s intention was ever to hire someone well-known. To make this movie, he needed someone that people were unfamiliar with because it’s the only way they would really believe this character. She’s such a mystery. You couldn’t hire someone that people already have a relationship with”, Rooney explains to Allure.

Teen sensation Demi Lovato lands a lovely feature about second chances in the January issue of US Glamour magazine.
Captured by Matthias Vriens-McGrath, the 19-year-old star sports romantic side-swept curls as she flaunts her sexy cleavage in a Vera Wang dress.
The ‘Skyscraper‘ singer points out to the magazine what she looks for in a man.
“Someone who’s not only supportive in my career but also in my [emotional] recovery. It’s a big
responsibility dating me. Because I come with a little bit of baggage, you know? I’m completely open. I’m honest about the journey I’ve been on, so I definitely don’t take dating lightly anymore. And they have to make me laugh!”, Demi explains to Glamour.

Rising star Rooney Mara’s heavenly editorial for the November issue of US Vogue is here. Head below to see for yourself.
Here are some highlights from ‘The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo’ actress’ accompanying cover story:
ON THE DRAMATIC CHANGE IN LOOK SHE WENT THROUGH IN PREPARING FOR HER ROLE: “Before, I dressed much girlier. A lot of blush-colored things. Now I literally roll out of bed and put on whatever is there. I have really enjoyed being a boy this last year”.
ON HER VERSION OF LISABETH SALANDER ALWAYS COMPARED TO NOOMI RAPACE’S SWEDISH PORTRAYAL: “One of the things that make our version that much more heartbreaking is that even though I am playing a 24-year-old, I look much younger. I look like a child”.
ON THE PUBLIC’S RESPONSE TO HER GOING TOPLESS FOR THE MOVIE POSTER: “There’s a certain way people are used to seeing nude women, and that’s in a submissive, coy pose, not looking at the camera. And in this poster, I’m looking dead into the camera with no expression on my face. I think it freaks a lot of people out”.
The 26-year-old looks flawless in an Alexander Wang knit top. How gorgeous are those cheek bones?
A barefooted Rooney looks stunning in a Calvin Klein silver-framed halter dress.
The raven-haired actress is wearing a Bottega Veneta strapless dress.
‘The Social Network’ star looks beautiful in a Marchesa silk-tulle dress with crystal beading.
