Rihanna and Kate Moss Get Kinky For V

What happens when R&B diva Rihanna, ageless supermodel Kate Moss and legendary photographer Mario Testino get together? Well, the answer can be found in the forthcoming issue of V magazine.

Testino captures the ‘Diamonds‘ singer and 38-year-old model against a pink background, not to mention in some compromising positions, that see both ladies styled as dominatrices and going completely nude in a couple of shots. One can only wonder what was the mood like behind-the-scene, Riri’s hit song ‘S&M‘ was probably playing in the background.

Album Review: Rihanna Is Filthy And We Like It

Leading to the release of her sixth studio album ‘Talk That Talk‘ this coming week, Rihanna has been slowly whetting our appetites with the release of exquisite promo pictures(checkout previously released art here and here). Having listened to the Barbadian singer’s 11-track new album, I can assure you that much like the art, you won’t be let down. In fact, the art captures the mood of the album to a tee. The album is filthy, sexy, raunchy, risqué and undoubtedly Rihanna’s best work to date.

Starting with album opener and second single ‘You Da One‘, which can be seen as ‘Man Down‘ ‘s more polished and beautiful Caribbean sister. The mid-tempo reggae song, with a dubstep breakdown, shows how much the 23-year-old’s sound has matured over the years. Although not the best track on the album, this is a nice way to usher fans into the new Rihanna era.

Then there is the much hyped-up title track, featuring rapper Jay-Z and sampling Notorious B.I.G.’s ‘I Got A Story To Tell’. This is the first of four highlights on the album and will most certainly go on to be the most commercially successful cut off the album. The StarGate-produced hip hop track is dancey and just as memorable as the two’s 2007 collaboration ‘Umbrella’. While the two held back a little on ‘Umbrella’, here they go all out, with Rihanna even getting Hov to drop some dirty verses as he raps “I be trying to chill, bitches wanna fuck me, every little city I go, fuck me”, and Rihanna urging him back by singing, “come on let me know if you want some more, you know what I like right now get it right, boy talk that talk to me all night”. The queen of dirty singing is without a doubt in her element here.

‘Roc Me Out’ is a classic raunchy Riri pop song, reminiscent of ‘Rude Boy’ and ‘S&M’. This is another highlight on the album and will blow up as a radio single, with Rihanna cooing “I’ve been a bad girl, daddy, won’t you come get me?”, just before the catchy hook kicks into full gear.

‘Watch N’ Learn’ is very similar to the previously mentioned track, but far less memorable. The song is strongly influenced by late ’90/early ’00 R&B-hip hop, think TLC.

A song that will remind most of ‘Don’t Stop The Music’ is the Dr. Luke-produced ‘Where Have You Been’, which starts with a sick acoustic beat and runs through a trancestep beat. This is the most upbeat track on the album since lead single ‘We Found Love’– both written by Calvin Harris. But unlike the latter, the lyricism isn’t as lazy, making it all the more fun.

Then comes the most poorly packaged song on the album, with the final cut sounding like it was recorded on a cellphone and Riri had a bad case of nasal congestion. Bangladesh-produced track ‘Cockiness(Love It)’ has got the most sexually-explicit lyrics on the entire album and possesses what could go down as the most iconic line of Rihanna’s career, “Suck my cockiness, lick my persuasion”. Some will find the song liberating, some tacky, some below the belt and some downright outrageous. Either way Rihanna proves that she can talk that talk on this one, and she keeps it real.

In the many changing faces of Rihanna on the album, as far as love in concerned, she finally shows her vulnerable side singing about an addictive lover on ‘Drunk On Love’. The track is almost a ballad, but quite dancey and mid-tempo just like ‘You Da One’. The song samples English band The xx’s ‘Intro’ and is another album highlight.

Just when you thought Rihanna is a sex-crazed puppet, she takes it down a notch and the end result is surprisingly the most soothing, heartfelt and beautiful two ballads. ‘Farewell’ and ‘We All Want Love’ showcase the singer’s vocal range. ‘Farewell’ is an epic album closer and the last of four highlights on the album. The ballad rivals two of Rihanna’s best career ballads — ‘Take A Bow’ and ‘Unfaithful’.

Rihanna And Chris Brown 2.0 Are Hooligan Lovers

When Rihanna’s ‘We Found Love’ was first released some people noted and speculated the song’s lyrics dabbled a bit into the singer’s turbulent relationship with former boyfriend Chris Brown.

Although some whispers were made, they never were strong enough and they soon vanished into thin air. It wasn’t until the song’s almost 5-minute long music video was released yesterday, that even louder and conspicuous whispers began to buzz.

No one can fault all the whispers, considering that it’s clear as daylight that the video is romanticizing the 23-year-old’s past toxic relationship with Brown. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not by any means complaining about the singer using her past experience with abuse for artistic expression. I’m quite ok with it, it makes for thrilling viewing — as long as no one is getting hurt in the process. In fact she’s sending a powerful message to anyone in an abusive relationship. In a nutshell she is merely saying that, that kind of environment is not healthy, get out as fast as you can.

Reminiscent of Danny Boyle’s disgustingly glorious movie ‘Trainspotting’, the morose video opens with an extended intro that features the narration of model Agyness Deyn. As the British model utters the words, “It”s like you’re screaming but no one can hear. You almost feel ashamed that someone could be that important, that without them, you feel like nothing…”, a punkish Rihanna and Chris Brown’s twin brother, excuse me! I mean English model Dudley O’Shaughnessy, are seen getting raunchy in multiple scenes taken from different events in their life together, including them getting steamy in a bathtub.

Subsequently, the song kicks into full gear, and what follows in an adrenaline filled feast for the eyes. The two hooligan lovers engage in careless substance abuse, mindless partying, and shoplifting. While they are not getting high on each other, Ri and her green-eyed lover are busy getting violent with one another. In one standout scene the two are spotted having a heated argument in a car.

By the end, Rihanna decides that she has had enough and bravingly walks out on her lover, who is lying on the floor out cold. It all proves to be very hard for Rihanna, as in the last scene she shows her vulnerable side, crying in the corner of a dark room.

The video was directed by Melina Matsoukas, who has collaborated with the singer before on other racy videos such as ‘S&M’ and ‘Rude Boy’. The video runs in contrast to its two colourful predecessors, by surprisingly taking a dark look at love and it works. This ranks right up there with some of Rihanna’s best videos. The storyline is fitting and gripping, Rihanna’s performance is convincing and the clip is very cinematic.

All The Fashion At The Billboard Music Awards

Justin Bieber stole the 2011 Billboard Music Awards by locking lips with girlfriend Selena Gomez after he was announced as the Top New Artist. Rihanna and Britney Spears also kept us talking with their raunchy ‘S&M’ performance before then. Elsewhere, the white carpet failed to get as much enthusiasm. Many stars opted to play it safe. The carpet only saw a peak once Rihanna walked it with a matching white pant suit, while stars such as Nicole Kidman, Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez made the most effort with sophisticated gowns. Here is all the fashion:

Rihanna Talks Chris Brown, Sexting and S&M

We have already established that Rihanna looks steamy in the latest issue of Rolling Stone magazine, I mean just look at this photo.

The red-haired singer also gets a little serious in the magazine, revealing how she really feels about her turbulent ex Chris Brown. Rihanna, who says she hasn’t spoken to Brown in a long time, explains to Rolling Stone of her reason for agreeing with the judge’s decision to ease the restraining order against Brown.

“We don’t have to talk ever again in my life. I just didn’t want to make it more difficult for him professionally. What he did was a personal thing – it had nothing to do with his career. Saying he has to be a hundred feet away from me, he can’t perform at awards shows – that definitely made it difficult for him”, Rihanna explains.

She adds, “That’s my decision. It doesn’t mean we’re gonna make up, or even talk again. It just means I didn’t want to object to the judge.”

That’s very sweet and mature of the singer. Rihanna further reveals to Rolling Stone of the difficult period she went through after the Brown incident.

“I put my guard up so hard. I didn’t want people to see me cry. I didn’t want people to feel bad for me. It was a very vulnerable time in my life, and I refused to let that be the image. I wanted them to see me as, ‘I’m fine, I’m tough.’ I put that up until it felt real” Rihanna says.

The 23-year old live up to her bad girl image by admitting she is into S&M.

“”Being submissive in the bedroom is really fun. You get to be a little lady, to have somebody be macho and in charge of your shit. That’s fun to me…I like to be spanked. Being tied up is fun. I like to keep it spontaneous. Sometimes whips and chains can be overly planned – you gotta stop, get the whip from the drawer downstairs. I’d rather have him use his hands”, the S&M singer says.

If that wasn’t enough to get us excited, Rihanna further confirms that she occasionally sext.

“When you’re not with the person you
want to be intimate with, a picture is
the next best thing. Well, Skype is safer. But a picture lasts a long time. When you’re alone…pictures can be very handy”, Rihanna reveals. “I haven’t gotten a dick picture in a long time. I think people are a little afraid. It can turn out bad”.

Rihanna FINALLY Covers Rolling Stone

It’s about bloody time. Rihanna finally covers the music industry’s most powerful magazine, Rolling Stone. Can you believe Snooki covered it before her?

Photographed by famed editorial photographer Mark Seliger, Rihanna is captured in a steamy over-the-shoulder pose. The S&M singer shows off her sexy big butt, as she dons racy cut-up shorts and a tank top, with her signature red hair in a spiral.

The magazine hit newsstands on Friday and her full feature in the magazine will be revealed on Wednesday. But as per usual, some of her inside photo-spread have ‘mysteriously’ leaked online. Although poor picture quality, Rihanna doesn’t hold back in the inside spread too. The singer is photographed in the jungle and sexily posing in a little bikini in one shot.

On the cover, cover-lines read “Rihanna Strikes Back. Pop’s Queen of Pain on Sexting, Bad Boys and Her Attraction to the Dark Side”. Oh dear, can Wednesday get here already so that we can find out what dirty deeds RiRi reveals to the magazine.

Britney Spears show some love to the gay community

Britney Spears is showing love to the gay community in the April issue of Out magazine. The “Ladies We Love” issue of the popular gay magazine will be published in a duel cover format, featuring the Princess of Pop herself Miss Spears, and Her Majesty Queen of Pop Madonna.

While Britney’s photo-spread and e-mail conducted interview with the magazine was made available online today, we are going to have to wait until Monday, 14 March, to see Madonna’s feature.

Spears teamed up with photographer Ruven Afanador for her ferocious, sex appeal filled shoot. Afanador showcased Britney’s sultry side throughout the pages of the magazine – though I doubt it was a mission.

For the cover-shot, a close-up head-and-shoulder shot shows Britney with her fingers in mouth while posing sexily. Probably the most daring pose Britney struts for the magazine is an acrobatic style pose, in which the singer is seen sitting down and simultaneously stretching her one leg 180 degrees in the air, wearing thong leotards.

In another photo Britney, again wearing leotards, showcases two of her tattoos positioned on either sides of her upper-thighs. A coy looking Britney is also photographed standing next to a wall wearing an opened trench, with her bra and panties showing.

The singer answers some of the questions we have been dying to get answered over the years. When asked whose career did she want to mold herself after when she started out, she replies “Madonna. No question. She is an amazing entertainer”.

She also reveals that she listens to a lot of Lady Gaga and Rihanna, she’s even quoted as saying “Rihanna’s ‘S & M’ is awesome”. She adds that if there was one song she wished to have recorded in the last 10 years it will have to be Eminem and Rihanna’s “Love the Way You Lie”.

Britney describes Betty White as her favourite Golden Girl because “She’s so sweet and innocent”. Furthermore, she says fellow covergirl Madonna is “Cool”, Lady Gaga is “Unique” and onetime arch-rival Christina Aguilera is “Truly Talented”.

Rihanna bares all for Nivea

Oh well what do you know? Rihanna can look sweet after all. It is refreshing to she the red-haired beauty photographed looking anything else but a cold-hearted bitch she usually comes across as in most of her pictures.

The newly 23-year old has been announced as the new spokesperson for Nivea in celebration of their 100th anniversary this year. As part of their campaign, which kicks off in May, the S&M singer was captured in this very fresh, make-up free and sensual shot.

Despite four of her tattoos showing in the picture, Rihanna can easily be mistaken as the-girl-next-door.

Notice something else? Is hardly no shock really, the singer yet again drops her clothes off for the camera. While most women battle to step out of the house with just their bikini suits, for our dear RiRi it has become quite the norm to drop her top off for the camera.

Overall though, everything is done in a very tasteful manner. I’m sure with a big name as Rihanna behind their campaign and a sexy shot such as this Nivea can expect an increase in revenue this season.

Furthermore, Rihanna will receive Nivea sponsorship for her upcoming LOUD tour
