Award season has just ended, so it’s only fitting that The Hollywood Reporter has just released its third Annual Stylist Issue, profiling and ranking 25 of the season’s most powerful tastemakers.
‘Carrie‘ leading lady Julianne Moore and her stylist Leslie Fremar land on one of the four covers for the edition. Lensed by Ruven Afanador, the 52-year-old flame-haired actress looks breathtaking in a Chanel gown.
Leslie is ranked as the Most Powerful Stylist of the year, beating Rachel Zoe (#3). Leslie also styles Charlize Theron, Reese Witherspoon, Scarlett Johansson and Jennifer Connelly.

American sweetheart Reese Witherspoon sits back and relaxes on the cover of the March issue of UK Glamour magazine.
Photographed by Simon Emmett, the 35-year-old actress sports old Hollywood glamour curls, while looking pretty in a beige dress.
The ‘This Means War‘ star shares with the magazine her views of plastic surgery.
“I’m not for it. I’m not against it. I have plenty of friends who do stuff and if it makes you feel good, great. But I don’t think it’s the fix for some sort of
unease that you’re having about who you are as a human being. I don’t think I need plastic surgery at this point”, Reese points out to Glamour.

Actress Reese Witherspoon shows some sexy cleavage on her two covers for the February issue of US ELLE magazine.
Lensed by the magazine’s regular contributor Carter Smith, the 35-year-old, with her wavy blonde locks, flaunts her curves in a white viscose jersey dress with black trim by Armani on one cover, while looking sultry in a Dior silk chiffon dress on another.
Promoting her upcoming movie ‘This Means War’, Reese talks to the magazine about earning a reported $15 to $20 million per film.
“Every time they call and talk to me about money, I get embarrassed about it. A couple of women finally made me feel better: ‘To get what you’re making, do you know how much money people are making off of you?’ I’m like, ‘Oh, oh, okay”, Reese points out to ELLE.
Checkout Reese’s editorial below, styled by Mario Grauso:

US Vogue has had a couple of exciting covers over the last few months. From Lady Gaga photographed by Mario Testino in a chic pink bob on the cover of the March issue and red-haired singer Rihanna flaunting her sexy curves in the mermaid inspired Annie Leibovitz shot April cover, to American sweetheart Reese Witherspoon going old Hollywood glam in a black/white Roland Mouret dress on the May cover.
But judging by the recently leaked June 2011 cover of the magazine featuring Spanish beauty Penelope Cruz, the issue is going to be a huge snoozefest. Sure the 37-year-old actress looks drop dead gorgeous in the romantic countryside close-up shot, but it lacks that alluring factor we have seen in recent months. The cover is believed to have been lensed by the incomparable Mario Testino and Penelope is wearing a lace and cotton Dolce & Gabbana bodysuit.
Penelope stars in the latest Pirates of the Caribbean movie to be released later this month, as a female pirate named Angelica.

It certainly is a great season for American sweetheart Reese Witherspoon. First she got hitched late last month, then she graced the cover of the May issue of ELLE UK and has a hyped up movie coming out with Robert Pattinson at the end on the month. Now the actress is covering the world’s biggest fashion magazine’s May edition as a cherry on top.
Showing some serious cleavage in a black and white Roland Mouret dress and sporting retro blonde curls, the newlywed shimmers on the cover of American Vogue. One word sums up the cover, ELEGANT.
Lensed by famed fashion photographer Peter Lindbergh, Reese’s spread inside the magazine is just as glamorous. The 35-year-old is the quintessential Hollywood leading lady as she toughens up to pose with an elephant, wearing designs by Valentino and Dior.
In case you were wondering the name of the cute elephant Reese is posing with is Tai. The Indian elephant has featured in many Hollywood productions, including Reese and R-Patz’s upcoming movie “Water for Elephants” and Britney Spears’ “Circus” music video.
So what more can we expect from American Vogue’s May issue. Well looking at the headlines on the cover, the magazine will honour late fashion designer Alexander McQueen, just like Harper’s Bazaar UK is doing with their latest issue.
Here the dons a stunning sequin and tulle overlay dress from Dior.

This edgy one cap shoulder dress by Alexander Wang was in the running to be worn by Reese on the cover of May Vogue. Unfortunately, it didn’t make the cut. Reese pulls off the old Hollywood glam look really well

This year we saw a lot of black and white on the Oscar red carpet, with a pop of colour (Jennifer Hudson, Sandra Bullock) here and there. Some looked effortlessly elegant (Michelle Williams), while others just oozed sex appeal (Mila Kunis, Jennifer Lawrence), but some just got it all wrong (Nicole Kidman). Here is the good, the bad, the ugly and the WTF of the 83rd Academy Awards:
BEST DRESSED: Cate Blanchett is gorgeous in this Givency Couture masterpiece. The yellow details on the dress lit up the red carpet
BEST DRESSED: Oscar winner Halle Berry dazzles in this nude Marchesa creation. Hot mama!
BEST DRESSED: This right here is my new Hollywood “it” girl. Mila Kunis went bold with this lacy Elie Saab Haute Couture dress and who can blame her with a body such as hers. Take note Hollywood leading ladies, this is how you do it
BEST DRESSED: Newcomer Jennifer Lawrence embodies total Hollywood bombshell in this scarlet Calvin Klein frock
THE GOOD: Last year’s Best Actress winner Sandra Bullock looks red hot in this Vera Wang frock. See what you’re missing out on Jesse James?!
THE GOOD: You have got to love Michelle Williams and her ability to look glam without even trying. She looks simple and elegant in this white sparkling Chanel Haute Couture gown. Not a lot of ladies can pull the short hair like Michelle can
THE GOOD: 34-year old Reese Witherspoon looks elegant in this black and white Armani Pravi dress, reminiscent of Julia Roberts’ dress the year she won her Oscar. Her hair was the most amazing of the night
THE GOOD: A heavily pregnant Natalie Portman and Best Actress winner for her role in Black Swan didn’t disappoint in this purple Rodarte evening gown
THE BAD: New mom Penelope Cruz shows off her post-pregnancy figure in this L’Wren Scott gown. While she looks hot, I’m not too fond of this dress at all, especially the colour. Husband Javier Bardem was her best accessory though
THE BAD: This Calvin Klein dress Gwyneth Paltrow wore just didn’t do her any justice. Nothing about the dress worked, from the colour to the fabric and even the cut
THE UGLY: Nicole Kidman just didn’t get it right here with this white Dior gown. The shape of the dress just didn’t complement her beautiful figure. The hair was a bit of a mess too. Quite sad, considering how she got it right when she accompanied hubby Keith Urban to the Grammys a few weeks ago
The WTF: If there was a controversial dress at the Oscars this year it has to be Jennifer Hudson in Versace. The actress/singer’s new body looks awesome and I understand wanting to flaunt it. But with weight loss, comes sagging boobs. The bottom part of the dress worked though and the pop of colour
