Yesterday Complex unveiled the first cover-star for their April/May Issue (Checkout the Justin Bieber cover here). Now the magazine has revealed their second cover-star and it happens to be ‘Starships‘ rapper Nicki Minaj, clad in a Ralph Lauren top.
Sporting traditional African tribal makeup and donning an angel bleached white wig, with bangs, the 29-year-old is featured on two different covers for the Special 10th Anniversary Edition — one serious and one not-so-serious — lensed by Christian Anwander.
Nicki reveals to the magazine where she sees herself in the next 10 years.
“In 2022, I’ll definitely be married and I’ll definitely have my two children… OK, I might have three, but I do want at least one boy… No, no, no. I don’t think I even need a girl. I need a boy though”, Nicki shares with magazine.
Head below for Nicki’s editorial styled by Rose Garcia. Nicki rocks shoes by Christian Louboutin and Giuseppe Zanotti, in case you were wondering.

Avant-garde rapper Nicki Minaj is all about the big fake hair on the cover of the April issue of Allure magazine.
Showing a bit a cleavage, the ‘Starships’ rapper dons a larger-than-life cotton candy wig, with matching pink lips, on the Michael Thompson-shot cover.
The 29-year-old reveals to the magazine of a chat she had with Jay-Z about world domination.
“I never thought about music as just being the end-all, be-all. I always looked at it like a business, something that I could create an empire out of. So that’s why I’m only about to put out my second album and I’m already thinking about this. I had a little conversation with Jay-Z at the Victoria’s Secret fashion show. He said, ‘Congratulations on all your success.’ And I was like, ‘Yeah, I’m coming for you. I’m coming for your spot, Mr. Mogul’”, Nicki shares with Allure.

Following her controversial and critically-slammed performance at the Grammys, queen of hip hop Nicki Minaj makes a subdue appearance on the cover of the February/March issue of Vibe magazine.
Dubbed ‘Notorious King’ by coverlines, the 29-year-old rapper dons a crown over her fiery curly hair on the cover, while explaining to the magazine whether it’s hard being a woman in the industry.
“It’s not hard to get your way when it’s your way or the highway. People either follow suit or they’re not around. I don’t really like the sound of that, ’cause that sounds like a temper tantrum. I’m just very black and white when it comes to my business”, Nicki tells Vibe.

Last night (12 February) was music’s big night, with the 54th annual Grammy Awards taking place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. While the show was overshadowed by the shocking and sudden death of R&B diva Whitney Houston, the Grammys still attempted to put on a great show, that included a lovely Whitney Houston tribute by ‘American Idol‘ alum Jennifer Hudson. It was of course British goddess Adele‘s big night, winning all six of her nominations. Other big winners included Kanye West and Foo Fighters, with English producer Paul Epworth and indie folk band Bon Iver getting their moment to shine too.
The stars came out all glammed-up in big numbers on the red carpet, with fan favourite Lady Gaga deciding to skip it all. Check it out below:
BEST-DRESSED: Katy Perry looked stunning in a three-quarter sleeve Elie Saab embellished floral appliqué gown, matching her blue hair.
Carrie Underwood opted for a bridal look in a white longsleeve Gomez-Gracia silver sequined dress.
BEST-DRESSED: Blonde-haired Rihanna looked drop dead sexy in an Armani custom gown, with a plunging neckline and dramatic back. Riri helped design the Michelle Pfeiffer Scarface-inspired dress.
With her hair up in a bun, Country sensation Taylor Swift graduated from her usual strapless gowns, by going for a Zuhair Murad capsleeve gown, with a high-neck.
BEST-DRESSED: Rocking retro curls and popping red lips, Adele showed off her curves in Armani.
Rapper Nicki Minaj had everyone talking, by channeling Little Red Riding Hood in her Versace satin robe.

Fishnet-faced Lady Gaga didn’t disappoint in custom gold and black Versace. Pity we couldn’t see the ensemble in motion.

Photographed by Howard Huang, the 29-year-old shares with the magazine how it was like to sit next to Vogue editor Anna Wintour at New York Fashion Week this past year.
“Yes! I was screaming out loud inside my head. Me sitting next to the Queen of Vogue! It was such a strange experience. I felt like I was dreaming. And I thought she would be snobby or something. But she was so incredibly sweet to me”, Nicki tells Paper.
