Hollywood A-Listers came out in big numbers last night (07 May), all in the name of fashion, to celebrate the 2012 Costume Institute Gala (Met Ball). Held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, the event was co-chaired by British actress Carey Mulligan, designer Miuccia Prada, and US Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour. This year’s event honoured Prada and late Italian designer Elsa Schiaparelli.

Lady Gaga’s Nude Portrait Revealed
Lady Gaga first revealed that she posed nude for ‘The Lady Is A Tramp‘ collaborator Tony Bennett during the ‘A Very Gaga Thanksgiving‘ TV special.
Now the charcoal portrait, created in New York City during her Annie Leibovitz-shot Vanity Fair photoshoot has been unveiled and you can actually bid for it here. The artwork features a very naked Gaga lying down, with a burning cigarette in hand and sporting side-swept long hair. Tony Bennett signed the portrait with his birth name ‘Benedetto’.
Peter Facinelli Is Da Man
‘Twilight‘ heartthrob Peter Facinelli fronts the December/January issue of Indonesian men’s fashion magazine Da Man.
Lensed by Mitchell Nguyen McCormack, the 38-year-old actor looks dapper in a Boglioli suit.
Peter shares with the magazine the most challenging scene he has done in the Twilight saga.
“The most challenging scene was the stitching scene in New Moon because I had to learn how to stitch someone up and really had to do the stitches. The day we were shooting the scene, I realized I had to wear my [colored] contact lenses and I couldn’t see. It is very difficult to stitch with limited vision”, Peter explains to Da Man.

Beyonce To Release ‘Elements Of 4′ Live DVD
Queen of pop Lady Gaga and first lady of Soul Adele are not the only ones releasing a live in concert DVD this November. R&B diva Beyonce is joining the fray too.
The mom-to-be will release the 26-song standard version of ‘Live at Roseland: Elements of 4′ DVD on 21 November — same day as Gaga’s ‘Lady Gaga Presents The Monster Ball Tour At Madison Square Garden’. The DVD was filmed during the four-day ’4 Intimate Nights With Beyonce’ concerts in New York back in August, the one that sold out in 22 seconds and was only afforded to 3500 lucky fans per night.
As an extra little treat, the deluxe version of the DVD will drop on 29 November — same day as Adele’s ‘Live At The Royal Albert Hall’. The deluxe package will, amongst many things, include seven of the music videos that the 30-year-old ‘Party’ singer has been flooding us with lately, from her latest album ’4′.
The artwork for the DVD features a close-up shot of a sultry-looking Beyonce, seductively placing a diamond object on her luscious lips.
