The 23-year-old actress opens up to the magazine on recovering from her eating disorder.

“I’m so unbelievably lucky that I’m not like that anymore because it is a horrible way of life and it’s miserable. It consumes everything you think about and you can’t pursue things you want to do… I used to spend so many wasted days being depressed and feeling gross….I learned you have to be happy. People who are the happiest are the most beautiful”, Lucy shares with Seventeen.

‘The Carrie Diaries‘ starlet AnnaSophia Robb dons a floral print one-piece bathing suit on the cover of the May issue of Seventeen magazine.

The 19-year-old actress shares with the magazine how she landed the coveted role of a young Carrie Bradshaw.

“In my audition, we were talking about prom and they asked me if I could dance. I was just messing around and started doing the chicken dance as one of my moves for some reason. I guess they liked that I could be myself because Carrie is not afraid to be who she is. So I got the role for being my goofy self”, AnnaSophia explains to Seventeen.

The 23-year-old actress chats with the magazine about the ‘Boyfriend‘ parody video she made with rumoured boyfriend and ‘Spring Breakers‘ co-star James Franco.

“I haven’t heard from Selena [about the 'Boyfriend' parody]! People thought that I was being mean, but I was just doing what the girl did in the video. It wasn’t a jab at her. But I heard from Justin. He wasn’t happy. Justin is like my little brother since he and my ex [Ryan Good] are so close. Anytime you go through a breakup, the friends get defensive. But all is well in that area now”, Ashley shares with Seventeen.

“I’ve never really talked about this, but I would go days without eating. Or maybe I’d have some fruit and then go to the gym for three hours. I knew I had a problem… It was a gradual process but I changed myself”, the 23-year-old tells Cosmo.

With the release of her 3D concert-doc film ‘Katy Perry: Part Of Me‘ just around the corner, to coincide with the 4th of July weekend, Katy Perry shows her patriotic side on the cover of the latest issue of Parade magazine.

Lensed by Matt Jones, the 27-year-old songbird dons a blue ensemble and tops her curly two-toned mop with an American flag print hat.

The ‘Wide Awake‘ singer explains to the magazine why her breakup with husband Russell Brand needed to be acknowledged in the film.

“I think if people walked out of the theater and that was completely avoided, they would be like, ‘Well, there’s an elephant in the room that’s still there.’ I like to go out there looking like a strong woman, because I am strong. But I am also a woman who goes through all kinds of problems and highs and lows. I wanted to show the complete spectrum”, Katy points out to Parade.
