Rising starlet Elizabeth Olsen is featured in the September issue of US Glamour magazine.
Photographed by Patrick Demarchelier, the 23-year-old actress models the season’s hottest military-inspired looks from Victoria Beckham, Michael Kors, Valentino, Christian Louboutin, Prada, Proenza Schouler, Carolina Herrera and Maison Martin Margiela.
The ‘Martha Marcy May Marlene‘ star talks to the magazine about coming from a well-known family.
“My last name has always been my motivator to get proper acting training and be taken seriously. I didn’t get to where I am because of who I’m related to… They (Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen) figured it all out and I should listen to them more”, Lizzie shares with Glamour.

Hollywood‘s next big thing Elizabeth Olsen has scored a pretty feature, lensed by Pamela Hanson in the March issue of UK Glamour magazine.
Liz explains to the magazine how her style has evolved over the years.
“I’ve gone through different stages of fashion. I went through a second-hand-only phase when I was 16. Then I only wore long skirts and cardigans at 18. [Now] I like wearing clothes that look quite put-together. Shirts buttoned all the way up, fitted trousers”, Liz tells Glamour.

Girl-of-the-moment Elizabeth Olsen looks adorable on the cover of the March issue of ASOS magazine.
Photographed by Todd Cole, the ‘Martha Marcy May Marlene‘ starlet sets the record straight on the misconception that she had a lavish childhood in the magazine.
“People have a weird idea of my upbringing… I did lead a very charmed life growing up, but I was aware of the things that were abnormal. The only time I flew first-class as a kid was when my sisters [Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen] did these cruises called ‘Sail With The Stars’. They were the main event, so the company would fly us first-class. Other than that, never”, Lizzie explains to ASOS.

The 17th Annual Critics Choice Awards were held last night (12 January). If they are anything to go by, it seems the odds in leading to the 2012 Oscars are in favour of ‘The Help‘ stars Viola Davis and Octavia Spencer, who both took home ‘Best Actress’ and ‘Best Supporting Actress’ respectively. As it was expected ‘The Descendants‘ actor George Clooney scoped ‘Best Actor’. Michel Hazanavicius’s ‘The Artist’ took ‘Best Picture’, winning him ‘Best Director’ in the process.
Elsewhere on the grey carpet, everyone went all out, giving us the first really exciting ‘red carpet’ event of the year. While the night was dominated by a lot of black, some stars still opted for a splash of beautiful colour. Head below for all the fashion.
