Q Magazine 25th Anniversary Issue: The Florence Welch Cover


Indie rock band Florence and The Machine’s lead female vocalist Florence Welch looks stunning with her red hair slicked back on the cover of the November issue of Q magazine. Photographed by Alex Lake, the ‘What The Water Gave Me’ belter brings her vintage style to the magazine, wearing a gold longsleeve bodysuit.

The British music magazine is celebrating its 25th anniversary, and to honour this huge milestone the publication will have 25 collector’s issues — and two bonus ones — starring the most important acts who are shaping music at present. Acts such as Coldplay, Arcade Fire, Dizzee Rascal and Paolo Nutini will each get their own special covers, with exclusive interviews.

If that wasn’t enough the magazine will also have a limited edition cover that features legendary Welsh band Manic Street Preachers and comes with a special vinyl version of the rock group’s forthcoming singles collection ‘National Treasures’ as well as a subscriber’s issue cover featuring American rapper Jay-Z. Now that’s how you celebrate a 25th birthday.
