Carey Mulligan Ethereal For Harper’s Bazaar

‘The Great Gatsby‘ star Carey Mulligan covers the June issue of Harper’s Bazaar UK magazine (Checkout the cover here). For her ethereal editorial, taken by lensman Tom Allen, the 27-year-old actress looks pretty in designs from Prada, Erdem, Bottega Veneta, (Yves) Saint Laurent and Fendi.

Carey reveals to the magazine how it was like to work with Leonardo DiCaprio.

“Well, he wasn’t my pin-up, but he was for a lot of my girlfriends. When I did the audition with Leo in New York I walked away grinning. Just the idea that if I never got any further, I had just spent an hour and a half acting with Leonardo DiCaprio”, Carey tells Bazaar.

Leonardo DiCaprio Suits Up For Esquire

‘The Great Gatsby‘ leading man Leonardo DiCaprio suits up for the cover of the May issue of US Esquire magazine.

The 38-year-old actor tells the magazine the following on being single.

“Six months of being on location or being off in Morocco or someplace like that is not the best thing for a relationship”, Leo explains to Esquire.

The cast of director Baz Luhrmann‘s 3D masterpiece ‘The Great Gatsby‘ are prominently featured in the May issue of Vogue Australia magazine. In an exclusive look, the film’s costume designer and Luhrmann’s wife Catherine Martin gives us a sneak peek of the lead characters’ retro 1920s glamour wardrobe. Photographer Hugh Stewart lensed Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire, Carey Mulligan, Adelaide Clemens, Joel Edgerton, Elizabeth Debicki, Jason Clarke and Isla Fisher, on the set of the film during breaks in filming.

The ‘Homeland‘ star opens up to the magazine about turning down Kate Winslet‘s role in Titanic.

“I had just made a romantic epic with Leonardo (Dicaprio) –- it just seemed redundant to me. The problem is that I always took myself too seriously. Now I realise I should have lightened up. I was a serious kid to an absurd degree. I was overwhelmed with responsibility, trying to play grown up. I overdid it”, Claire shares with GQ.

Leonardo DiCaprio Fronts Interview Russia’s Inaugural Issue

Russia is launching its first ever issue of acclaimed American pop culture magazine Interview and who better to grace the cover of the inaugural issue than Oscar buzzworthy actor Leonardo DiCaprio.

The ‘J. Edgar‘ star was shot by Brigitte Lacombe for the close-up retro cover, that sees the 37-year-old channeling Jack Nicholson with his beard, slicked-back hair and donning wayfarer sunglasses.

This is Interview’s first international edition in its 42-year history.

Leonardo DiCaprio Covers GQ

Sexy blue-eyed actor Leonardo DiCaprio covers the October issue of US GQ magazine.

The 36-year-old goes mano-a-mano with the director of his upcoming film ‘J. Edgar’, Clint Eastwood, discussing the biographical drama. Eastwood expresses his views to the magazine on the controversial figure’s sexuality.

“It’s gonna be for the audience to interpret. It’s not a movie about two gay guys. It’s a movie about how this guy manipulated everybody around him and managed to stay on through nine presidents. I mean, I don’t give a crap if he was gay or not”, the 71-year-old director tells GQ.

‘J.Edgar’ is slated to open the AFI Fest 2011 on November 3, and is set
to be released on November 9 in the United States.
