‘Scandal‘ beauty Kerry Washington scores the cover of the June issue of US ELLE magazine.

The 36-year-old actress, rocking red pouty lips, shows off her gorgeous pair of legs in plaid Marc Jacobs shorts and cashmere cardigan on the Horst Diekgerdes-lensed cover.

Kerry chats to the magazine about getting ready for the red carpet.

“I found out I enjoy the process. All these people show up at my house, they all have kits, someone has dresses. And it’s like, Let’s have fun. It’s not all about me. We’re able to create stories on the red carpet”, Kerry explains to ELLE.

For her editorial, styled by Samira Nasr, Kerry wears casual looks by Armani, Levi’s, Balmain, Tom Ford, Blk Dnm and Giambattista Valli.

Sunday, 27 January, saw the Screen Actor Guild (SAG) hand out its iconic nude male figure, mostly referred to as ‘The Actor’, to outstanding performers of the season in both the small and big screen. The Ben Affleck-directed hostage-crisis film ‘Argo‘ once again took top honours at the SAG Awards, further positioning itself as a strong contender for ‘Best Picture’ at the Oscars. On Sunday night (13 January), it was the turn of the 90+ members of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) to make their top selections in television and film excellence at the 70th Annual Golden Globes. Actor-turned-filmmaker Ben Affleck was once again the top pick of the night, snagging both ‘Best Director’ and ‘Best Picture (Drama)’ for his masterpiece ‘Argo‘.
