Katy Perry Keeps It Simple For GHD

Pop sensation Katy Perry returns as the spokeswoman for GHD‘s latest Ad campaign.

Unlike her previous three flamboyant and theatrical campaigns, the ‘Wide Awake‘ singer teams up with photographer Ellen Von Unwerth to deliver a muted and elegant campaign. In one shot, Katy dons a longsleeve embellished dress and reflects off a mirror, while sporting a low ponytail, with parted side-swept bangs. In the other black and white still, the 27-year-old songbird sits down to play chess, as she rocks long sleek hair, with a blunt fringe.

The usually minimal coloured cover of US ELLE magazine goes bold and bright, with Katy Perry as covergirl, for their September issue.

Sporting funky nail art as well as long two-toned purple and black hair, with bangs, the ‘Wide Awake‘ songbird strikes a pose for the lens of Carter Smith in a Bottega Veneta dress.

The 27-year-old singers talks to the magazine about love and relationships.

“I obviously have a lot to say right now…I’m a woman who likes to be courted–strongly. Never say never, I guess you’d say. I’ll let love take the lead on that”, Katy tells ELLE.

Katy Perry Gets Patriotic For Parade

With the release of her 3D concert-doc film ‘Katy Perry: Part Of Me‘ just around the corner, to coincide with the 4th of July weekend, Katy Perry shows her patriotic side on the cover of the latest issue of Parade magazine.

Lensed by Matt Jones, the 27-year-old songbird dons a blue ensemble and tops her curly two-toned mop with an American flag print hat.

The ‘Wide Awake‘ singer explains to the magazine why her breakup with husband Russell Brand needed to be acknowledged in the film.

“I think if people walked out of the theater and that was completely avoided, they would be like, ‘Well, there’s an elephant in the room that’s still there.’ I like to go out there looking like a strong woman, because I am strong. But I am also a woman who goes through all kinds of problems and highs and lows. I wanted to show the complete spectrum”, Katy points out to Parade.

Katy Perry Channels Lady Gaga For Vogue

Pop sensation Katy Perry once again teams up with photographer Francesco Carrozzini to make yet another outre transformation, and this time it happens to be for the July issue of Vogue Italia magazine.

For the futuristic and flamboyant shoot, the 27-year-old ‘Wide Awake‘ singer channels pop-art extraordinaire Lady Gaga, with the help of a bleached crop and some avant-garde creations.

Katy, who is promoting her soon-to-be-released concert-doc 3D film ‘Katy Perry: Part Of Me‘, defines her fashion style to the magazine.

“I like small boutiques, handmade garments, ornamental details. It all depends on how I am when I wake up. But, by and large, I like anything that is fun. One of my favorite American designers is Jeremy Scott. I adore him because he doesn’t play along, and I do the same”, Katy explains to Vogue.
