Last night (12 February) was music’s big night, with the 54th annual Grammy Awards taking place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. It was of course British goddess Adele‘s big night, winning all six of her nominations. Other big winners included Kanye West and Foo Fighters, with English producer Paul Epworth and indie folk band Bon Iver getting their moment to shine too.

Let’s face it Essex-born newcomer Jessie J has had a great year. So it comes as no surprise that the ‘Domino’ singer has been named as one of this year’s UK Harper’s Bazaar ‘Women Of The Year’, snagging the title for ‘Breakthrough Of The Year’.
Snapped by Serge Leblon, the 23-year-old looks vampy in red for her December feature with the magazine and sports her trademark raven hair with bangs.
Jessie, who cites fellow British songbird Adele as her woman of the year, reveals some of her plans for the new year.

She is renowned for her trademark tights, just as much as she is famed for her signature fringe, bright lips and leotards. Can you guess who?
Yes. It comes as no surprise that English songbird Jessie J has been chosen as the new face of Pretty Polly’s Statement Tights designed by House of Holland.
Starring in the new comic strip-inspired Ad campaign for the collection, the vampy 23-year-old singer is featured striking a Catwoman-esque pose in the middle of a gloomy city, while bystanders are seen falling off — perhaps from her allure.
The ‘Domino’ singer, with legs for days, struts her stuff in a sexy black bodysuit, paired with matching suspender tights and sporting ruby-red lips and her chic bangs.

If that wasn’t enough the magazine will also have a limited edition cover that features legendary Welsh band Manic Street Preachers and comes with a special vinyl version of the rock group’s forthcoming singles collection ‘National Treasures’ as well as a subscriber’s issue cover featuring American rapper Jay-Z.
