The 2013 award season came to an end last night, Sunday, 24 February, with the 85th Annual Academy Awards. Big winners of the night were Jennifer Lawrence, Ang Lee, Adele, Daniel Day-Lewis and ‘Argo‘, while director Steven Spielberg was the biggest loser of the night.

All The Fashion At The 2013 SAG Awards

Sunday, 27 January, saw the Screen Actor Guild (SAG) hand out its iconic nude male figure, mostly referred to as ‘The Actor’, to outstanding performers of the season in both the small and big screen. The Ben Affleck-directed hostage-crisis film ‘Argo‘ once again took top honours at the SAG Awards, further positioning itself as a strong contender for ‘Best Picture’ at the Oscars. The 19th Annual SAG Awards also recognized Jennifer Lawrence, Claire Danes, Daniel Day-Lewis and more.

Taylor Swift Sparkles For ELLE

Taylor Swift adorns the newsstand cover of the December issue of ELLE Canada magazine — Checkout the subscriber’s cover here.

The 22-year-old strikes a pose for the lens of Andrew MacPherson in a Reem Acra sequin dress.

Taylor explains to the magazine why she writes so many breakup songs.

“I just don’t feel like writing songs about anything other than human emotions because it’s such a fascinating thing… What else is there other than love?”, Taylor tells ELLE.

Lensed by Txema Yeste, the 24-year-old actress is the quintessential blonde bombshell in a red Balmain blazer.

Blake reveals to the magazine who’s style she’s obsessing over currently.

“I love Florence Welch. She’s pure magic. I always admire people who make really strong choices. When you do something bold, it’s usually because you feel really good in it.”, Blake tells Marie Claire.

All The Fashion At The 2012 Screen Actors Guild Awards

The 18th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards were held last night (29 January) at the Shrine Exposition Center in Los Angeles. While ‘The Help‘ was the big winner of the night, it was French actor Jean Dujardin who stole the show, snatching ‘Best Actor’ right under Hollywood heartthrob George Clooney‘s nose and for the first time, this award season, creating a competitive Oscar race in the category. Clooney’s good friend Viola Davis took home ‘Best Actress’, and having won under the same category a few week ago at the Critics Choice Awards, the 46-year-old becomes the clear front-runner for the Oscar race in the category. Davis’ biggest threat comes from two of The Weinstein Company’s lovely ladies, Meryl Streep and Michelle Williams, who both won a Golden Globe two weeks ago for ‘Best Actress Drama’ and ‘Best Actress Comedy/Musical’, respectively.
