Florence Welch Gets Funky For Nylon

Florence and the Machine’s flame-haired female lead singer Florence Welch covers the June issue of Nylon Magazine.

The Indie rock singer sports a very punkish look on the cover, contrary to her usual glamorous vintage-inspired style, while her auburn brown hair is given funky tousles with bangs.

The 24-year-old talks to the magazine about The Machine’s upcoming follow-up to their debut album ‘Lungs’:

“A lot of the songs on the new album are about imaginary things, things that you can’t touch — ghosts and rumors, my dead grandmother, things visiting you in a dream
