Pop crooner Bruno Mars is a big deal and his latest feat is testament to that. The 26-year-old pint-sized hottie becomes only the 10th man to cover Playboy magazine, since its inception 58 years ago.
Sporting his signature pompadour hairdo, the ‘It Will Rain‘ singer dons an Armani suit for the April ‘Sex and Music’ issue and rocks out with his guitar, alongside a sexy Raquel Pomplun.
The Grammy-winner talks to the magazine about his idols.
“Growing up in the showbiz world, I looked up to those guys: Frank Sinatra and of course Elvis Presley. My dad was into the 1950s doo-wop era. If you look at those groups, or at James Brown, Jackie Wilson and the Temptations in the 1960s, you’ll see you had to be sharp onstage”, Bruno explains to Playboy.
Other males stars that have covered Playboy in the past include Peter Sellers, Burt Reynolds, Steve Martin, Donald Trump, Dan Aykroyd, Jerry Seinfeld, Leslie Nielson, Gene Simmons and Seth Rogen.

Following her controversial and critically-slammed performance at the Grammys, queen of hip hop Nicki Minaj makes a subdue appearance on the cover of the February/March issue of Vibe magazine.
Dubbed ‘Notorious King’ by coverlines, the 29-year-old rapper dons a crown over her fiery curly hair on the cover, while explaining to the magazine whether it’s hard being a woman in the industry.
“It’s not hard to get your way when it’s your way or the highway. People either follow suit or they’re not around. I don’t really like the sound of that, ’cause that sounds like a temper tantrum. I’m just very black and white when it comes to my business”, Nicki tells Vibe.

Over the weekend we got a glimpse of multiple Grammy-winning songstress Adele on the cover of the March issue of US Vogue magazine (Checkout the cover here). Now head below for a look at the ‘Rolling In The Deep‘ beauty rocking designs by Yves Saint Laurent, Dolce & Gabbana, Tom Ford, Oscar De La Renta and more in her gorgeous editorial, shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott.
Here are some highlights from the 23-year-old’s interview with the magazine.
ON HER FUTURE PLANS: “I am f***** off for four or five years. If I am constantly working, my relationships fail. So at least now I can have enough time to write a happy record. And be in love and be happy. And then I don’t know what I’ll do. Get married. Have some kids. Plant a nice vegetable patch”.
ON HER 37-YEAR-OLD FORMER INVESTMENT BROKER BOYFRIEND SIMON KONECKI: “He’s wonderful. And he’s proud of me, but he don’t care about what I do or what other people think. He looks after me. I don’t think I would have gotten through the recovery for my surgery if it hadn’t been for him”.
ON ALWAYS GETTING NERVOUS BEFORE A LIVE PERFORMANCE: “You can see the fear behind my eyes. The first TV show I ever did was … with Jools Holland, when I was eighteen, and I was sandwiched between Björk and Paul McCartney. And the fear in my eyes is exactly the same fear that’s in my eyes when I come on singing now. The more records I sell and the bigger this all gets, the bigger the shows get. It’s like a vicious cycle”.
ON DOING RED CARPET EVENTS: “I hate the red carpet. I don’t feel insecure, I just feel like, Oh, I don’t want to do this. I literally get a stomach cramp. At the VMA’s last year I felt really out of my comfort zone because there were so many superstars there. But that’s been the case from day one. I never feel like, Oh, yeah, I should be here. And I was
missing my best friend’s hen night”.
ON HAVING THROAT SURGERY LATE LAST YEAR: “I’ve been singing properly every day since I was about fifteen or sixteen. and I have never had any problems with my voice, ever. I’ve had a sore throat here and there, had a cold and sung through it, but that day it just went while I was onstage in Paris during a radio show. It was literally like someone had pulled a curtain over it. I knew my voice was in trouble and obviously I cried a lot. But crying is really bad for your vocal cords, too!”.

Last night (12 February) was music’s big night, with the 54th annual Grammy Awards taking place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. While the show was overshadowed by the shocking and sudden death of R&B diva Whitney Houston, the Grammys still attempted to put on a great show, that included a lovely Whitney Houston tribute by ‘American Idol‘ alum Jennifer Hudson. It was of course British goddess Adele‘s big night, winning all six of her nominations. Other big winners included Kanye West and Foo Fighters, with English producer Paul Epworth and indie folk band Bon Iver getting their moment to shine too.
The stars came out all glammed-up in big numbers on the red carpet, with fan favourite Lady Gaga deciding to skip it all. Check it out below:
BEST-DRESSED: Katy Perry looked stunning in a three-quarter sleeve Elie Saab embellished floral appliqué gown, matching her blue hair.
Carrie Underwood opted for a bridal look in a white longsleeve Gomez-Gracia silver sequined dress.
BEST-DRESSED: Blonde-haired Rihanna looked drop dead sexy in an Armani custom gown, with a plunging neckline and dramatic back. Riri helped design the Michelle Pfeiffer Scarface-inspired dress.
With her hair up in a bun, Country sensation Taylor Swift graduated from her usual strapless gowns, by going for a Zuhair Murad capsleeve gown, with a high-neck.
BEST-DRESSED: Rocking retro curls and popping red lips, Adele showed off her curves in Armani.
Rapper Nicki Minaj had everyone talking, by channeling Little Red Riding Hood in her Versace satin robe.

Fishnet-faced Lady Gaga didn’t disappoint in custom gold and black Versace. Pity we couldn’t see the ensemble in motion.

Grammy-nominated singer Kelly Rowland is featured on the cover of the January issue of UK Marie Claire magazine.
Rocking some chic bangs, the ‘X Factor‘ judge looks beautiful as she strikes a tall pose in a puffy little number under the lens of David Oldham.
The 30-year-old ‘Motivation‘ songbird tells the magazine that she’s very excited for longtime friend Beyonce, who is expecting her first child, but insists that she’s not broody in the least.
“I will babysit and change a diaper or two, and then give it back, I do want kids, but every time I think about a little person growing inside of me and getting bigger and bigger and then having to come out…a watermelon coming out of something the size of a lemon is insane to me”, Kelly shares with Marie Claire.

The 38-year-old actress tells the magazine of the influence R&B singer and close-friend Beyonce had on her surprise Grammy duet with Cee Lo Green.
“This story always makes me cry… It’s 10 in the morning and Beyonce schleps it all the way down to the Staples Center to watch. I mean, She’s Beyonce”, Gwyneth explains to ELLE.
“Beyonce’s like, ‘Okay. The singing is great. But you’re not having any fun.’ She’s like, ‘Remember when we’re at Jay’s concert and Panjabi MC comes on and you do your crazy Indian dance? Do that. Be you!’”

Grammy-winner Bruno Mars, with his sexy curly and pompadour hair, covers the latest issue of Billboard magazine.
The 25-year-old ‘Grenade’ singer talks to the magazine about his February charge for cocaine possession.
“It’s something that I wish would go away. It’s a cloud that constantly follows me no matter how many achievements. I’d like to move on. To show that I’m here for my music. Not to be in a tabloid”, Bruno tells Billboard.
