Lady Gaga Shapeshifts Into A Wolf

With only a month to go before Lady Gaga releases ‘Born This Way – The Remix’ album, the 25-year-old singer has unveiled the album’s cover art.

The artwork features a previously unseen still of Gaga taken from the ‘Born This Way’ promotional shoot lensed by long time contributor Nick Knight. The bizarre black and white shot, sees a part human/part animal Gaga sitting on what appears to be a sandy surface at night, and by the look of things ready to shapeshift into a wolf-like creature. Sporting a beehive, Gaga is adorned in a one-shoulder horsehair-like coating garment.

The avant-garde star’s fascination with inventing novel things to do with the shoe, aside from footing in, continues. Remember how we were introduced to the Gaga shoe hat earlier this year, well now the shoe is dangling off the mouth.

The 14-track remix compilation album is set to be released on 21 November and features mixes by prominent artists, DJs and producers such as The Weeknd, Foster The People and Twin Shadows. Checkout the tracklist below:

Lady Gaga talks family, new album and lil’ monsters in Vogue

Last week we got a first glimpse of Lady Gaga’s much anticipated American Vogue cover and now the March issue of the magazine has finally hit newsstands.

In a lengthy interview with the magazine Gaga explain the special rapport she has with her ‘little monsters’ (her fans). The controversial singer says that she identifies a lot with her ‘little monsters’ and her connection with them runs so deep that sometimes, being on stage is like having sex with her fans. Gaga adds that her ‘little monsters’ are the only people on the planet who in an instant can make her just lose it completely.

“I see myself in them. I was this really bad, rebellious misfit of a person – I still am – sneaking out, going to clubs, drugs, alcohol, older men, younger men. You imagine it, I did it. I was just a bad kid. And I look at them, and every show there’s a little more eyeliner, a little more freedom, and a little more ‘I don’t give a f–k about the bullies at my school.’”, Gaga told Vogue.

“For some reason, the fans didn’t become more Top 40. They become even more of this cult following. It’s very strange and exciting.”

Gaga further expresses how she sees herself as a performer. She says speaking from a musical standpoint, she perceives herself as a great performer, a talented entertainer and consider herself to have one of the greatest voices in the industry. Gaga also says she consider herself to be one of the greatest songwriters.

“I wouldn’t say that I am one of the greatest dancers, but I am really quite good at what I do. I think it’s OK to be confident in yourself”, She pointed out to Vogue.

Furthermore, Gaga reveal that her forthcoming album “Born This Way” will be a seventeen-track CD. She says the album will include songs such as “Hair”, “Bad Kids”, “Americano”, “Government Hooker” and the second single “Judas”. Gaga adds that the album will be the best ever, since her fans deserve nothing less.

She also opens up about her relationship with her father, who Gaga says was very involved in her career before he had his heart attack. Since the heart attack, the singer says she has been very “obsessed” with her father’s health. Gaga explains that she is very Italian, therefore, she calls her father every day.

“They (her parents) are in their 50s, and they still live in the same apartment on the Upper West Side (New York City). Nothing has changed since I have become a star. I am a real family girl. When it comes to love and loyalty, I am very old-fashioned. And I am quite down-to-earth for such an eccentric person”, the 23-year-old says.

Gaga’s fashion spread in Vogue is what we all expected it to be and more. The fashion-forward star has the very same unanimated facial expression in every shot. Gaga models designs by Alexander McQueen and Louis Vuiton.
