The 2013 Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art — better known as the Met Gala — took place last night — Monday, 06 May — in New York City. This year’s theme was ‘Punk: Chaos to Couture’. Checkout all the fashion below:

Country sensation Taylor Swift graces the cover of the April/May ‘Outspoken’ Issue of Wonderland magazine.

Sporting clean-to-natural makeup and hair, the 23-year-old singer strikes her signature hand heart pose on the Tung Walsh-shot cover.

The ‘22‘ songbird chats relationships with the magazine.

“Relationships are like traffic lights. And I just have this theory that I can only exist in a relationship if it’s a green light”, Tswift points out to Wonderland.

Sporting waspy bangs, the 23-year-old singer looks beautiful in a Valentino dress on the Karen Collins-shot cover.

Taylor shares with the magazine her biggest fear in life.

“What I worry about is that I never want to end up kind of a self-centered, vain human being. My fears circle around me making the wrong choices and messing this up for myself. I don’t wanna end up being awful and intolerable. Alone. Laying in a marble bathtub by myself, like sad, with a glass of wine just complaining that my life ended up alone because I pushed everyone away because I thought I was too good to hang out with anybody. The typical Hollywood sad cliché of the poor lonely starlet with no one because she put up all these walls and didn’t trust anyone. That’s my fear. And that’s why I live my life the way I live my life because I’d so much rather feel everything than end up like that”, Taylor explains to InStyle.

The 65th annual British Academy Film Awards (BAFTAs) — the British equivalent of the Oscars — took place tonight (12 February) at the Royal Opera House in the UK. ‘Beginners‘ actor Christopher Plummer, ‘The Help‘ actress Octavia Spencer as well as silent film ‘The Artist‘ continued on their winning streak this award season, in their respective categories. Jean Dujardin once again upset George Clooney by clinching ‘Best Actor’, with Meryl Streep denying Viola Davis a ‘Best Actress’ win.
