The 2012 Teen Choice Awards (TCAs) were held last night (Sunday, 22 July), at the Gibson Amphitheatre, in Los Angeles. In true TCAs style, most of the looks on the pink carpet were very relaxed and casual, with many stars opting for bright-coloured little numbers. Quirky ‘New Girl‘ actress Zooey Deschanel donned a blue Monique Lhuillier dress.

Country superstar Taylor Swift looked elegant in a white Maria Lucia Hohan dress and Prada shoes.

Birthday girl Selena Gomez looked pretty in a pink DSquared2 dress, paired with Herve Leger platform sandals.

Sporting a high ponytail, host of the night and ‘X Factor‘ judge Demi Lovato went for a bold choice in a Fulguni and Shane Peacock feather dress.

‘The Vampire Diaries‘ actress Nina Dobrev looked stunning in a strapless J. Mendel cocktail dress and Jimmy Choo shoes.

‘Glee‘ sweetheart Lea Michele stole the pink carpet in a Versace mini dress embroidered with crystals.

‘Pretty Little Liars‘ starlet Lucy Hale lit up the already bright-coloured pink carpet in a neon coral Wes Gordon dress.

With her dark wavy hair let loose, ‘Snow White & the Huntsman‘ actress Kristen Stewart went for a rock chic look in Robert Cavalli leather pants and printed blazer. She completed the look with Christian Louboutin pumps.

Rocking her signature blunt bangs, ‘Call Me Maybe’ singer Carly Rae Jepsen wore a Lisa Ho printed ensemble.

The 32nd annual Brit Awards took place on Tuesday (21 February), at the O2 Arena in London. Winners of the night included Adele, Coldplay, Lana Del Rey and Rihanna. Checkout all the red carpet action after the jump:

The 2011 MTV Video Music Awards took place on Sunday, 28 August. The big winner of the night was British songstress Adele, walking away with four moonmen. Another big winner was “ET” singer Katy Perry who received three wins. Avant Garde singer Lady Gaga also managed to win two awards, while Justin Bieber, Beyonce and Britney Spears all walked away with one win.

While it was news of R&B diva Beyonce’s pregnancy that stole the show and Lady Gaga’s male alter ego Jo Calderone making an appearance, there was still plenty of action on the black carpet. Check it out all below:
