Katy Perry Channels Snow White For GHD

Earlier this year pop sensation Katy Perry made her debut as the face of GHD, and now the singer is reprising her role in the UK hair brand’s latest ‘Scarlet Collection’ Ad campaign.

Katy is featured in two shots to help demonstrate the purpose of the new styler that offers a dramatic twist and comes in two luxurious art deco styled gift set options. The one shot is very dark and dramatic, while the other is all about the glitz and glamour.

In the dark shot, the 26-year-old looks vampy as she channels Snow White. Sporting plum lips and cropped ’20s-inspired slicked-back hair, Katy has the ‘poisoned apple’ in hand and shows her sexy leg in a black gown with a long slit.

Photographed by famed lensman David LaChapelle, the ‘ET’ singer is a glamorous showgirl ready for her set in the more lively shot. Katy is seen wearing a pink feathery outfit and rocking sleek voluminous wavy hair.

 

Katy Perry Is Pretty In Pink For InStyle

Pop sensation Katy Perry graces the cover of the October issue of US InStyle magazine, with pink hair.

Rocking an Emanuel Ungaro capsleeve lace dress on the cover, the 26-year-old explains to the magazine what influences her style.

“I take a lot of influence from pinup girls of the ’40s and ’50s — when everything was done with a wing and a grin”, Katy tells InStyle.

Earlier this week we got a glimpse of a very sexy Katy Perry on the cover of the June edition of Vanity Fair magazine. Now we get to see the pop sensation’s full fashion spread shot by renowned photographer Annie Leibovitz in Paris. For the spread Katy dons a lot of gorgeous Haute Couture pieces as follows:

Katy Perry Goes Old Hollywood Glam For Vanity Fair

Katy Perry goes old Hollywood glam, with her raven hair styled in retro romantic curls and sporting ruby red lips, on the cover of June 2011 Vanity Fair magazine.

The “ET” singer embodies sheer sex appeal in a strapless champagne Zuhair Murad bodysuit. The pop singer pose for the lens of famed photographer Annie Leibovitz in Paris for the cover shoot, with both her hands meeting at the hips, giving a sexy hourglass shape.

In the accompanying cover story the 26-year-old talks about husband Russell Brand. “(There is) never a dull moment…(he has) never lied to me once. I trust him; there’s just a level of trust that we’ve built up”, Perry tells Vanity Fair.

She also explains the need for privacy in her marriage: “The press is just not your friend when it comes to a marriage. That’s why we didn’t sell the pictures of our wedding, and we got offered millions of dollars for them,
millions”.

 

Introducing Katy Perry The Alien

Katy Perry has never held back before when it comes to her music videos. She has always managed to get us talking. But judging by the latest photos taken from the singer’s upcoming video for ET, it appears she’s taking it all to a whole new level and ditching her girl-next-door look in the process.

The 26-year old recently released stills from her ET remix music video, which features rapper Kanye West. For the video Perry sports a futuristic look.

Her outlandish make-up is beautifully executed, from the white base and blue frame around her face to the various shades of colour around her eyes as well as the bright turquoise contacts and dramatic pink lashes.

The is no doubt that Perry derived inspiration from Lady Gaga’s intergalactic “Born This Way” video. Perry also dons a red flowy garment as she floats in space in a martial art-esque pose. With her hair in a pliant format, she can easily blend in with all the aliens from Star Trek.

Despite all the eerie elements to Perry’s look, she still manages to look sexually appealing. I don’t know about you, but this alien can abduct me anytime.
