Channing Tatum and Joe Manganiello Strip For EW

The sexy cast of the upcoming R-rated Steven Soderbergh drama comedy film ‘Magic Mike‘, Channing Tatum, Matthew McConaughey, Joe Manganiello and Matt Bomer do a striptease on the cover of the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly magazine.

Photographed by Gavin Bond, 32-year-old Channing gets his on cover for the issue and talks to the magazine about how it was like to work with the other guys.

“Actors, generally, if we finish our scenes early one day, we go home. It wasn’t like that on this set. Especially during the dances — we were there cheering everybody on”, Channing explains to EW.

True Blood‘ werewolf Joe Manganiello points out that he had no problem with the movie’s wardrobe — or lack thereof.

“When I came in for a meeting with the casting director, she hadn’t seen True Blood. So she said, ‘Are you going to be comfortable with partial nudity?’ And I go, ‘Have you seen my show? I’m the poster child for that’”, Joe recalls.

George Clooney And Viola Davis Glam Up For EW

Old pals George Clooney and Viola Davis appear to be all dolled up and ready for the Oscars on the cover of the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly magazine.

The Help‘ actress marvels to the magazine about how the Oscar race is shaping up this year.

“Can you wrap your mind around someone throwing you into the ring with Meryl Streep? I just don’t understand the competition thing. How can you compare two actors’ performances? How do you say one is better than the other?”, Viola utters to EW.

Meanwhile, ‘The Descendants‘ heartthrob voices his concern about women not being treated fairly in Hollywood.

“There’s this strange thing that’s happened over the last 25 or 30 years where there’s this decision being made that women aren’t able to carry the box office. Now, Bridesmaids has proved that to be bullshit, and The Help has proven it to be bullshit. But it’s much harder to get a film with a woman lead made. When a man hits 40 is when roles just begin to happen. And for women it doesn’t happen. I find that to be a very concerning issue”, Clooney explains to EW.

Daniel Radcliffe: EW’s Entertainer Of The Year

Thanks to the biggest buzz of the year, triggered by the release of the last installment in the ‘Harry Potter‘ franchise earlier this year, British actor Daniel Radcliffe has unsurprisingly been named Entertainment Weekly‘s 2011 Entertainer of the Year.

The 22-year-old, who is venturing into a career on Broadway, takes center stage on the latest issue cover of the magazine, looking dapper in a black suit, with a silver cane in one hand and a top hat in another. Daniel beats Adele, Hugh Jackman and the cast of ‘Bridesmaids‘ for the top honour.

Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner Cover EW

The Twilight trio is simply ‘to die for’ on the cover of the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly magazine.

Promoting ‘Breaking Dawn’, our beautiful young heroine Bella (Kristen Stewart) finds herself in a familiar territory, caught between Edward’s (Robert Pattinson) tight grip and Jacob’s (Taylor Lautner) warm muscles.

Robert and Kristen tease in the magazine that the love scene in the latest installment could have been more steamy if it weren’t for director Bill Condon needing to keep the action PG-13.

“There’s a version where it was really intense”, Robert recalls to EW. “Cinematically, cut all together, it’s awesome. But we didn’t really do that scene”, Kirsten points out. “And when we did, they kept telling us to stop”, Robert adds.

Rooney Mara Piggybacks Daniel Craig For EW

The stars of the soon-to-be-released David Fincher movie ‘The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo‘, Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara, cover the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly magazine.

The 43-year-old heartthrob carries the 26-year-old starlet on his back, with Rooney channeling Lisbeth Salander‘s 70s punk/80s goth style.

Rooney tells the magazine that even though her portrayal of Lisbeth demanded that she perform some grueling tasks, she wasn’t unfazed by them.

“There were certainly things I was scared to do, but I never thought I wasn’t up for the challenge. The motorcycle was the thing I really didn’t want to do. You know, you’re going to be raped [On screen], be naked… But as soon as he [Fincher] was like, ‘You’re going to have to ride a motorcycle’, I was like, ‘Oh, really?’”, Rooney points out to EW.

Melissa McCarthy Channels Royalty For EW

Let’s be honest it has been Her Majesty Melissa McCarthy’s year. From an Oscar buzzworthy performance in ‘Bridesmaids’, to winning an Emmy for her role in ‘Mike & Molly’, to even scoring one of the most memorable ‘Saturday Night Live’ hosting gigs and planning to launch her own plus-size clothing line.

So it’s only appropriate that the 41-year-old actress channels royalty on the cover of Entertainment Weekly magazine’s annual Comedy Issue. The heavily bejeweled actress throws the deuces sign up in the air, donning a Dame-esque gray wig and a white gown with matching pristine white gloves, as she clutches a dog.

Dubbed the ‘New Queen Of Comedy’ by the magazine, Melissa in her interview talks about being one of comedy’s most sought-after actresses, even though she’s not a typical looking Hollywood star.

“Do I sometimes hope I wake up in the morning and people are like, ‘What’s wrong with her? She looks emaciated’. Of course I would love that. I’m such a clothes whore I would love the opportunity to be a hanger. But I think I’m more confident than I’ve ever felt in my life”, Melissa explains to EW.
