‘What To Expect When You’re Expecting‘ star Elizabeth Banks does her best Marilyn Monroe impression in her feature appearing in the July issue of US Vanity Fair magazine.

For the old Hollywood glamour shoot, the 38-year-old actress poses for the studio lens of Norman Jean Roy in elegant designs by J. Mendel, Rochas and Herve Leger. Check it all out after the jump.

Elizabeth opens up to the magazine about why it took this long for her star to shine in Hollywood.

“I’ve put in a lot of time… But because I’ve worked in so many different genres and with so many different types of people, I’ve managed to stay a little bit fresh and a little new, which is rare when you’re in your 30s”, Elizabeth explains to Vanity Fair.

Snapped by Norman Jean Roy, the ‘What To Expect When You’re Expecting‘ actress looks lovely in a Donna Karan sequined dress.

The 38-year-old opens up to the magazine about having her son via gestational surrogacy.

“It’s essentially a test-tube baby — it’s just that the test tube is another woman… That you can grow a baby
outside of yourself! It’s just amazing!”, Elizabeth tells allure.

For her ’30s-inspired editorial, ‘The Hunger Games‘ star shimmers amongst tango dancers in a Donna Karan sequin dress, paired with a Gucci ostrich-feathered cape, and looks elegant in a Burberry dress in the other shot.

The lovely ladies of the upcoming romantic comedy film ‘What To Expect When You’re Expecting‘ take to the cover the June issue of Redbook magazine.

Diaz, at age 39, opens up to the magazine about feeling pressured to have kids.

“I’m sure a lot of people would expect that I would have had a child by my age. But it’s not what I’ve wanted out of my life thus far. We still live in a largely chauvinistic world. There’s a box people put themselves in, and when you [live] outside of it, that makes them uncomfortable — they have to look at themselves and question their own choices”, Diaz explains to Redbook.
