Hollywood A-Listers came out in big numbers last night (07 May), all in the name of fashion, to celebrate the 2012 Costume Institute Gala (Met Ball). Held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, the event was co-chaired by British actress Carey Mulligan, designer Miuccia Prada, and US Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour. This year’s event honoured Prada and late Italian designer Elsa Schiaparelli.

ELLE Gets Gleeful

The beautiful ladies of hit television series ‘Glee‘ are featured in the February issue of US ELLE magazine. Lensed by Carter Smith and styled in retro manner, the ladies each portray a character from show creator Ryan Murphy’s favourite horror movie. Just like with Vogue a couple of months ago, full-figured Amber Riley is once again sidelined. Head below to check it all out:

The 25-year-old actress, with her hair pulled into a classic bun and sporting a retro smokey eye, dons a Christopher Kane longsleeve dress as she channels the world’s first supermodel Twiggy for the lens of Marvin Scott Jarrett.

All The Fashion At The 2011 Emmy Awards

The 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards were held in Los Angeles last night, September 18, where some of television’s biggest stars came out in numbers to rub shoulders in honour of celebrating excellence in the 2011 season’s primetime programming.

While comedy series ‘Modern Family’ stole the show with 5 wins, including Best Comedy Series, the ‘who wore what?’ on the red carpet managed to gain just as much attention. It will appear red was the colour of the night, with Lea Michele, Kate Winslet, Sofia Vergara, Nina Dobrev and more opting to shine in red.

The lovable kids of Emmy-nominated TV series ‘Glee’ glam up for a group shot lensed by Norman Jean Roy for the September issue of US Vogue magazine.

As it will be expected the show’s young heroine Lea Michele stands out in a gorgeous Balmain embellished mirror dress, while Asian actress Jenna Ushkowitz looks sophisticated in a Ohne Titel zipper detail red dress. Scene-stealer Heather Morris is almost unrecognizable with popping red lips and a Dolce & Gabbana star-print coat. Queen bee Dianna Agron looks chic in Marc Jacobs patent wedge boots.

What about the guys? Starting with the ever so fabulous Chris Colfer in a Dries Van Noten white jacket and Christian Louboutin loafers, while on-screen boyfriend Darren Criss looks just as stylish. Wheelchair-bound Kevin McHale surprises the most in an Alexander McQueen colour-block suit.
