Rihanna Does Monochrome For ELLE

Troubled R&B singer Rihanna lands on multiple covers for the April issue of ELLE UK magazine (Check them out here). For her editorial, taken by photographer Mariano Vivanco, the 25-year-old beauty models monochrome designs by Maison Martin Margiela, Louis Vuitton, Tom Ford, Celine, Givenchy and Alexander Wang.

The ‘Stay‘ singster once again addresses why she decide to give her relationship with on-off boyfriend Chris Brown another shot.

“I have my own reasons, very, very private reasons. Very personal [about getting back together]… A lot of things. Bottom line is… I know him. I had a lot to think about and I had a lot of time to think about it. I was trying to do this for myself. You don’t have that feel [of everlasting love] with everybody so when you have it you don’t want to let go of it”, Rhi explains to ELLE.

Rolling Stone: Rihanna Crazy In Love

R&B diva Rihanna lands the cover of the latest issue of Rolling Stone magazine, for the second time in her career.

The ‘Diamonds‘ songbird arches forward, to reveal her sexy back, while sporting side-swept half-shaved hair and giving a filthy pout to the camera lens of Terry Richardson.

The 24-year-old singer opens up to the magazine about her new found relationship with troubled boyfriend Chris Brown. Checkout some of the highlights below:

ON WHY SHE GAVE CHRIS A SECOND CHANCE: “I decided it was more important for me to be happy. I wasn’t going to let anybody’s opinion get in the way of that. Even if it’s a mistake, it’s my mistake. After being tormented for so many years, being angry and dark, I’d rather just live my truth and take the backlash. I can handle it.”

ON WHAT’S DIFFERENT NOW: “When you add up the pieces from the outside, it’s not the cutest puzzle in the world. You see us walking somewhere, driving somewhere, in the studio, in the club, and you think you know. But it’s different now. We don’t have those types of arguments anymore. We talk about shit. We value each other. We know exactly what we have now, and we don’t want to lose that”.

ON WHAT SHE WOULD DO IF CHRIS RESORTED TO HIS PAST BEHAVIOUR: “He doesn’t have the luxury of fucking up again. That’s just not an option. I can’t say that nothing else will ever go wrong. But I’m pretty solid in the knowing that he’s disgusted by that. And I wouldn’t have gone this far if I ever thought that was a possibility”.

Chris Brown: Urban Gentleman For Prestige Hong Kong

R&B crooner Chris Brown stands tall on the cover of the November issue of Prestige Hong Kong magazine.

Shot by photographer Giuliano Bekor, the 23-year-old singer looks dapper in a jacket and turtleneck from Prada, as well as, an Armani hat.

Breezy tells the magazine what he wants the world to know about him.

“As a 23-year-old young entertainer, I want the world to see my art and hopefully be inspired by it, promote positivity with what I do now – with painting, with fashion, with directing, with creativity as far as videos and cinema. I want to have people admire that and hopefully have people follow in my footsteps”, Breezy explains to Prestige.

Over the weekend, we got a peek of pixie-haired Rihanna heating up the cover of the November issue of US Vogue magazine (Checkout the cover here). Now take a look at the ‘Diamonds‘ songbird’s edgy and moody editorial, taken on location by Annie Leibovitz. Styled by Camilla Nickerson, Rihanna channels a fierce and sexy predator in standout designs by Valentino, Dior, Michael Kors, Rosamosario, Revillon and Marc Jacobs.

Here are some of the highlights from the 24-year-old singer’s interview with the magazine:

On being single and not dating:

“I have not been on a date in forever Like two years. Haven’t gone to the movies, to dinner. Zero. I would love to go on a date, You don’t think that? I’m a woman. A young woman, vibrant, and I love to have fun. And I have too many vaginas around me at this point”.

On the type of guy she wants:

“Seriously, all I want is a guy to take me out and make me laugh for a good hour and take my ass back home. He doesn’t even have to come up. All I want is a conversation for an hour. No one asks. On the controversial ‘Birthday Cake’ remix with Chris Brown:

“I didn’t think it could be anything detrimental to my career. I was on a tour bus ride between two cities, listening to my album, thinking, Oooh, maybe I should make this into a duet. And I started coming up with a bunch of people, and his name crossed my mind. I thought, we haven’t made a song in so long together . . . it could be a little shocking”.

A blonde-haired Rihanna adorns the cover of the May Women In Music Issue of US ELLE magazine.

Rocking dramatic purple lips, the 24-year-old songbird looks gorgeous as she strikes a sassy pose for the lens of Tom Munro in a Versace studded lambskin jacket and skirt.

Riri opens up to the magazine about her controversial breakup with Chris Brown.

“It gave me guns. I was like, well, fuck. They know more about me than I want them to know. It’s embarrassing. But that was my opening. That was my liberation, my moment of bring it. […] Now you know that, so you can say what you want about it. I don’t have anything to hide”, Rihanna points out to ELLE.

Rihanna And Chris Brown 2.0 Are Hooligan Lovers

When Rihanna’s ‘We Found Love’ was first released some people noted and speculated the song’s lyrics dabbled a bit into the singer’s turbulent relationship with former boyfriend Chris Brown.

Although some whispers were made, they never were strong enough and they soon vanished into thin air. It wasn’t until the song’s almost 5-minute long music video was released yesterday, that even louder and conspicuous whispers began to buzz.

No one can fault all the whispers, considering that it’s clear as daylight that the video is romanticizing the 23-year-old’s past toxic relationship with Brown. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not by any means complaining about the singer using her past experience with abuse for artistic expression. I’m quite ok with it, it makes for thrilling viewing — as long as no one is getting hurt in the process. In fact she’s sending a powerful message to anyone in an abusive relationship. In a nutshell she is merely saying that, that kind of environment is not healthy, get out as fast as you can.

Reminiscent of Danny Boyle’s disgustingly glorious movie ‘Trainspotting’, the morose video opens with an extended intro that features the narration of model Agyness Deyn. As the British model utters the words, “It”s like you’re screaming but no one can hear. You almost feel ashamed that someone could be that important, that without them, you feel like nothing…”, a punkish Rihanna and Chris Brown’s twin brother, excuse me! I mean English model Dudley O’Shaughnessy, are seen getting raunchy in multiple scenes taken from different events in their life together, including them getting steamy in a bathtub.

Subsequently, the song kicks into full gear, and what follows in an adrenaline filled feast for the eyes. The two hooligan lovers engage in careless substance abuse, mindless partying, and shoplifting. While they are not getting high on each other, Ri and her green-eyed lover are busy getting violent with one another. In one standout scene the two are spotted having a heated argument in a car.

By the end, Rihanna decides that she has had enough and bravingly walks out on her lover, who is lying on the floor out cold. It all proves to be very hard for Rihanna, as in the last scene she shows her vulnerable side, crying in the corner of a dark room.

The video was directed by Melina Matsoukas, who has collaborated with the singer before on other racy videos such as ‘S&M’ and ‘Rude Boy’. The video runs in contrast to its two colourful predecessors, by surprisingly taking a dark look at love and it works. This ranks right up there with some of Rihanna’s best videos. The storyline is fitting and gripping, Rihanna’s performance is convincing and the clip is very cinematic.

Rihanna Talks Chris Brown, Sexting and S&M

We have already established that Rihanna looks steamy in the latest issue of Rolling Stone magazine, I mean just look at this photo.

The red-haired singer also gets a little serious in the magazine, revealing how she really feels about her turbulent ex Chris Brown. Rihanna, who says she hasn’t spoken to Brown in a long time, explains to Rolling Stone of her reason for agreeing with the judge’s decision to ease the restraining order against Brown.

“We don’t have to talk ever again in my life. I just didn’t want to make it more difficult for him professionally. What he did was a personal thing – it had nothing to do with his career. Saying he has to be a hundred feet away from me, he can’t perform at awards shows – that definitely made it difficult for him”, Rihanna explains.

She adds, “That’s my decision. It doesn’t mean we’re gonna make up, or even talk again. It just means I didn’t want to object to the judge.”

That’s very sweet and mature of the singer. Rihanna further reveals to Rolling Stone of the difficult period she went through after the Brown incident.

“I put my guard up so hard. I didn’t want people to see me cry. I didn’t want people to feel bad for me. It was a very vulnerable time in my life, and I refused to let that be the image. I wanted them to see me as, ‘I’m fine, I’m tough.’ I put that up until it felt real” Rihanna says.

The 23-year old live up to her bad girl image by admitting she is into S&M.

“”Being submissive in the bedroom is really fun. You get to be a little lady, to have somebody be macho and in charge of your shit. That’s fun to me…I like to be spanked. Being tied up is fun. I like to keep it spontaneous. Sometimes whips and chains can be overly planned – you gotta stop, get the whip from the drawer downstairs. I’d rather have him use his hands”, the S&M singer says.

If that wasn’t enough to get us excited, Rihanna further confirms that she occasionally sext.

“When you’re not with the person you
want to be intimate with, a picture is
the next best thing. Well, Skype is safer. But a picture lasts a long time. When you’re alone…pictures can be very handy”, Rihanna reveals. “I haven’t gotten a dick picture in a long time. I think people are a little afraid. It can turn out bad”.

Inside the red-haired singer dons a Donna Karan New York midnight-blue bodysuit , a Chloé one-shoulder mesh dress, a Lanvin silk dress and a Hervé Léger by Max Azria red cutout swimsuit.

ON HER FATHER (RONALD FENTY) FEEDING HER TO THE TABLOIDS: “It really makes me question what I have become to my father. Like, what do I even mean to him?…It’s really strange. That’s the only word I can think of to describe it, because you grow up with your father, you know him, you are a part of him, for goodness’ sakes! And then he does something so bizarre that I can’t begin to wrap my mind around it. You hear the horror stories about people going behind people’s backs and doing
strange things, but you always think, Not my family. My father would never do that to me.”

ON HER FATHER SPEAKING TO THE PRESS AFTER THE CHRIS BROWN SAGA: “That was the first time…My dad went to the press and just told them a bunch of lies. Because he hadn’t talked to me after…that whole thing…He never called to find out how I was doing, if I was alive, nothing. He just never called. He went straight to the press and got a check. And now
he does it again”.

ON CUTTING HER HAIR IN 2007: “When I cut my hair, the whole sound changed, my style changed.”

ON HER BODY: “Over the holidays, and even during filming (her upcoming first feature film ‘Battleship’), I realized that I actually like my body, even if it’s not perfect according to the book. I just feel sexy. For the first time, I don’t want to get rid of the curves. I just want to tone it up. My body is comfortable, and it’s not unhealthy, so I’m going to rock with it.”

ON GOING TO THE GYM: “I hate going to the gym and doing it the old-fashioned way. I hate anything that’s too straightforward, too routine, too familiar. I get bored really, really quickly”.

Chris Brown and Justin Bieber’s duet leaks online

Chris Brown’s new song “Next 2 You” featuring vocals by teen sensation Justin Bieber has just leaked online. The song along with “Look At Me Now” and “Yeah 3X” will be part of Chris’ fourth studio album “F.A.M.E” to be released on March 22.

The song has all the right ingredients needed to become a modern classic love song. It kicks off with a catchy beat followed by a verse by Chris and another by Justin.

Then finally Chris and Justin meet up on the bridge and subsequently the chorus where they take turns singing “One day when the sky is falling/I’ll be standing right next to you/Right next to you/Nothing will ever come between us/I’ll be standing right next to you/Right next to you”.

Romantic stuff right? To make up for its soapy lyrics, the song has a dance up-beat tempo to it and the two’s voices complement each other quite well. But Chris’ voice still flourish over Justin’s.
