Yesterday we got a first look at a nude Lana Del Rey on the cover of the October issue of British GQ magazine (Checkout the cover here). Photographer Mariano Vivanco captures the ‘Born To Die‘ songstress for her risqué, yet classy editorial, bringing us a sexier side of the 26-year-old that we don’t usually get to see.
Lana opens up to the magazine about her battle with alcohol addiction at a very young age.
“That’s really why I got sent to boarding school aged 14 — to get sober. I was a big drinker at the time. I would drink every day. I would drink alone. I thought the whole concept was so f***ing cool. A great deal of what I wrote on Born To Die is about these wilderness years. A lot of the time when I write about the person that I love, I feel like I’m writing about New York. And when I write about the thing that I’ve lost I feel like I’m writing about alcohol because that was the first love of my life. Sure, there have been people, but it’s really alcohol”, Lana explains to GQ.
Lana wears daring pieces from Chanel, Pucci, Giuseppe Zanotti and Maria Lucia Hohan.

Pouty-lipped singer Lana Del Rey graces the cover of the October issue of Australian Vogue magazine.
Sporting a messy updo, the 26-year-old looks pretty in a floral Gucci dress on the Nicole Bentley-shot cover.
The ‘Born To Die‘ songbird chats to the magazine about the fashion world’s obsession with her.
“I never expressed myself through fashion. I loved flowers in my hair, I loved guys who wore leather, but I didn’t get creative… From the age of about seven I had really specific tastes that never changed. I loved wearing white, old fur and gold. It’s funny because now people in fashion kind of came to my rescue when other people said they didn’t like the record but that was unexpected for me because I was never really that”, Lana explains to Vogue.

Photographer Ellen Von Unwerth captures auburn-haired and pouty-lipped songbird Lana Del Rey for the August issue of Vogue Italia magazine.
The 26-year-old ‘Born To Die‘ singer tells the magazine how she feels about the media fabricating things about her.
“I don’t feel any pressure from the media. All that could be said,ha been said. What wears me out is the frenzied rhythm of the journeys and of performing, trying to find the time necessary to do things that are important to me”, Lana points out to Vogue.
