Lady Gaga Nude For Born This Way Ball Promo

Not one to shy away from any controversy, pop-art singer Lady Gaga poses nude in the latest promo shot for her upcoming Born This Way Ball world tour.

The Terry Richardson-shot art sees a very nude Gaga hanging onto castle gates for dear life and wrapped in a transparent plastic sheet design by Hogan McLaughlin. The 25-year-old dons knee-high Pleaser adore-2020 stripper platform boots and an avant-garde clear brimmed-hat over her blonde locks.

Earlier this week the ‘Marry The Night‘ songstress released the gothic poster for her Born This Way Ball tour, featuring her ghostly face peeking through gloomy clouds, above a medieval castle with male zombies.

Prepare To Have A Very Gaga Holiday

Prepare to have a delightful holiday season with pop-art singer Lady Gaga. Not only is the ‘Marry The Night‘ singer having a jubilee 90-minute special ‘A Very Gaga Thanksgiving’ on ABC this Thursday (24 November), but she is also releasing a holiday EP.

Already available on US iTunes and worldwide on 26 November, ‘A Very Holiday Gaga’ features 4 jazz tracks to be performed on the Gaga-directed Thanksgiving TV special. The songs are her own version of ‘White Christmas’ and ‘Orange Colored Sky’ as well as a strip down and piano-backed rendition of two of her ‘Born This Way‘ hits — ‘You And I‘ and ‘The Edge Of Glory‘.

The EP cover art sees a retro jazz microphone erected in front of a Christmassy Gaga, with her eyes shut and giving a deeply sensual smile. The 25-year-old sports long glossy blonde locks and wears a white hooded fur garment.

NSFW: Lady Gaga Was Born This Naked

Derriere, tush, rear end, bottom, ass or booty, whichever term you prefer to use, they all describe the same thing; the sexiest, most valuable and celebrated part of a woman’s body.

Lady Gaga happens to be flaunting plenty of it, like she has never done before, in the new coffee table book ‘Culo’ — which if you haven’t guessed it already is the Italian word for the behind.

Wearing only a bra, the ‘Born This Way‘ singer, with her monster paws up in the air, bares her fully nude derriere in the black and white shot. The 25-year-old sports a fierce cat eyeliner, dagger nails and wind-blown wavy hair with chic bangs. Gaga’s signature facial and shoulder bone-like prosthetics make a return in the art.

‘Culo’ is the brainchild of Canadian fashion photographer Raphael Mazzucco in collaboration with Interscope Records chairman Jimmy Iovine, who discovered Gaga, and celebrates the beauty of a woman’s butt. The art book will drop on 22 November, coincidentally the same day as Lady Gaga’s own coffee table book ‘Lady Gaga x Terry Richardson‘ is released.

Lady Gaga Shapeshifts Into A Wolf

With only a month to go before Lady Gaga releases ‘Born This Way – The Remix’ album, the 25-year-old singer has unveiled the album’s cover art.

The artwork features a previously unseen still of Gaga taken from the ‘Born This Way’ promotional shoot lensed by long time contributor Nick Knight. The bizarre black and white shot, sees a part human/part animal Gaga sitting on what appears to be a sandy surface at night, and by the look of things ready to shapeshift into a wolf-like creature. Sporting a beehive, Gaga is adorned in a one-shoulder horsehair-like coating garment.

The avant-garde star’s fascination with inventing novel things to do with the shoe, aside from footing in, continues. Remember how we were introduced to the Gaga shoe hat earlier this year, well now the shoe is dangling off the mouth.

The 14-track remix compilation album is set to be released on 21 November and features mixes by prominent artists, DJs and producers such as The Weeknd, Foster The People and Twin Shadows. Checkout the tracklist below:

1. Born This Way (Twin Shadows Remix)
2. Judas (Hurts Remix)
3. The Edge of Glory (Foster the People Remix)
4. You And I (Wild Beasts Remix)
5. Marry the Night (Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs Remix)
6. Americano (Gregori Klosman Remix)

Lady Gaga Prepares To Marry The Night

The single cover for Lady Gaga’s fifth single ‘Marry The Night’, co-produced by Gaga herself and Fernando Garibay, from her latest album ‘Born This Way’ is here.

The flame hot artwork for the track that homages Gaga’s love for New York City, features the 25-year-old sitting on top of a car at night in Harlem, with fire ablaze in the background. Gaga rocks a blonde bob, as she turns her face away from the camera and dons a skimpy outfit that includes sexy knee-high boots.

Best Pop Album Of The Decade

Lady Gaga last year went out on a limb and boldly announced “I promise to give you the greatest album of this decade”. Now that album is here and the question is did she deliver on her promise?

Having listened to the full album I too can now proudly utter, ‘Born This Way’ is the best pop album I have heard in the last decade and ranks right up there with the best pop albums of all time.

The album is very eclectic. Gaga has departed from her previous sound, and has entered the unknown dungeons of pop music, which makes one almost uncomfortable at first listen. She is no longer just making records that can be easily picked for play on mainstream radio. She is no longer just the party fool we were introduced to on “Just Dance”. She is maturing into her newly adorned crown as the queen of pop.

‘Born This Way’ is revolutionizing pop in a big way. For those of us who have been praying that pop can go back to its roots and start sounding like pop again, instead of being influenced by House synth, then this is the beginning of all our prayers being answered. Gaga is taking a huge departure from what pop is today, and charging it back to basics. This album could actually save the little that is left of the genre.

As I’ve already mentioned, Gaga has grown a lot as a musicians from three years ago. She’s unafraid here. She explores a lot with the album. She will take you back to the disco 80s (Born This Way, Hair), then wheel you right into the 90s ( Bloody Mary, Mary The Night), hell she will even get you spitting a bit of Spanish and German on a few tracks (Americano and Schiebe ). When you start to feel right at home, she then makes a huge leap into unfamiliar territories (Heavy Metal Lover, Edge Of Glory), experimenting with a lot of interesting melodies and beats, bringing sax into mainstream pop, marrying disco with metal guitars. It is hear that you will pause for a minute to ask yourself, which era am I in? I guess the answer to this question lays in the mind-vomiting fame hooker’s own words — “in the cultural sense I just speak in future tense”

The fact that she masquerade sexual innuendo with religious and political references (Judas, Bloody Mary and Government Hooker) makes Gaga more daring, and hell even more cooler. The album is full of anthemic, heart felt, club-thumping, dancey tunes. My paws are still very tired from being up throughout the entire album.

The best track on the album has to be “Bloody Mary”, which is the counterpart of “Judas”, but far less flamboyant. Singing from Mary Magdalene’s perspective this time, Gaga’s voice stand outs amid the moody and dark lyrics and goth synth of the song. Though not very uptempo, it surprisingly manage to get one on their feet.

“Heavy Metal Lover” is just as good. But the metals are hardly heavy on this one, but rather subdue and mellow. As soon as Gaga growls “I want your whiskey mouth all over my blonde south/Red wine, cheap perfume, and a filthy shout” — after the powerful lengthy instrumental lead-in — you know this is going to be eventful. It has a very interesting hook, but very catchy at the least.

Another highlight has to be album opener “Marry The Night”. The song kicks off sounding like an electro-pop ballad, but climax into this huge club-banger. The track sounds very influenced by what R&B sounded like in the 90s, but given a Gaga spin. Another great cut has to be “Electric Chapel”, especially the lyricism. This one is very rock n roll meet a horror movie’s soundtrack. Heavy guitar sounds are used on the track, complemented by freaky electro church organ sounds.

Three songs off the album also deserve a shout. For starters, “The Edge Of Glory”, not in a million years did I think a jazzy track could be made this dancey. Gaga brings in Clarence Clemons on the sax and it works like a charm. Secondly, “Government Hookers”, which is to the most filthiest song on the album. With lyrics such as “Put your hands on me, John F Kennedy”. Don’t be fooled by the titled into thinking that Gaga is making a huge political statement with the track, cause she’s not. Lastly, Scheibe — a huge banger and will have you wanting to learn German. Unlike its bilingual mate “Americano”, which is all over the place, Scheibe is without a doubt going to be a classic Gaga song.

The biggest disappointment on the album has to be “Hair”. It starts in an ok manner, but from there everything is just downhill, until it takes an interesting peak towards the end. By then it’s a bit too late since one might have already dozed off. The lyrics are very cheesy, and one can’t help but wonder if Gaga is trying too hard to create an anthem. While “Born This Way” and “Bad Kids” succeed in getting their message of self acceptance and embracing eccentricity across, “Hair” completely falls flat.

“Highway Unicorn” is another letdown. Gaga has too much going on that it starts to feel like a rushed song by an amateur pop princess, who has been given a once in a lifetime chance to record and they’re cramming everything they have on the track to show what they’re capable of.

Lady Gaga Rebirthed In New Promo Photos

The wait is almost over. But to keep us busy in the meanwhile, new Lady Gaga ‘Born This Way’ promotional shots have been released.

The photos were taken by longtime Gaga contributor Nick Knight. In the new very artistic photos, Gaga as it will be expected finds herself delving into eccentric territories. It appears that mother monster, who’s naked self is covered with mucus, is going through a rebirth in the pictures. As usual, Gaga sports big colourful hair, a fierce cat eyeliner and rouge lips.

Lady Gaga Is On The Edge Of Glory

As Lady Gaga’s May 23 “Born This Way” release date fast approach, the avant-garde singer is intensifying the hype with the release of a new song, strictly for promotional reasons, as early as tomorrow on iTunes.

“The Edge Of Glory”, which was produced by Fernando Garibay and DJ White Shadow, will serve as the first of three Gaga promotional singles to be released digitally as part of the “Countdown to Born This Way” promotion on iTunes. During her “Google Goes Gaga” interview, the pop sensation revealed that she penned the song following the death of her grandfather in September, last year.

The song is said to feature Clarence Clemons from E Street Band, a band that has often toured and recorded with rocker Bruce Springsteen, on saxophone. Gaga has also been quoted as describing the song during her “Google Goes Gaga” interview saying, “The song is about your last moment on earth, the moment of truth, the moment before you leave earth. It can be played on the piano, but it’s actually set to this giant, huge, techno rock, Springsteen-esque dance beat”.

In true Gaga style the cover artwork for the song tells a story of its own. The singer appears nude with her shoulder tattoo showing in the Nick Knight shot photo. The 25-year-old also sports big frenzy hair, her signature facial and shoulder prosthetics as well as ruby red lips and black dagger-nails matching her perfectly done cat eyeliner.

Gaga has prior posted a bit of the song’s lyrics on Twitter, which goes like: “Back in the hustle, just like it’s my first time, another shot, before we kiss the other side, I’m on the edge of something final we call life, I’m on the edge of glory, and I’m counting on a moment of truth, I’m on the edge of glory, and I’m counting on a moment with you”.
