Promoting the coconut water brand’s new Tropical Fruit flavour, a blonde-haired Riri teams up with sleazy lensman Terry Richardson for the Ad. Clad in a pineapple-print crop top and shorts, the ‘Battleship‘ actress flashes her sunshine smile in the summery Ad.

“God, I thought I worked a lot. We would shoot until late Friday night and she would jump on a plane and go to L.A. to perform at the MTV Video Music Awards in front of a billion people, and then get straight back on the plane and fly to Hawaii, and go to set Monday morning with a smile on her face”, Alexander shares with Bullett.

The secret is out, ‘Battleship‘ starlet Rihanna is on the cover of the July issue of UK Esquire magazine.

Unfortunately for us the publication isn’t releasing the cover just yet, but to whet our appetite they have released a sneak preview of the blonde-haired ‘Where Have You Been‘ singer’s sexy editorial. For the drool-worthy shoot, the 24-year-old goes topless in two of the shots — not an unfamiliar territory at all — and dons a dominatrix bondage bodysuit in another shot, leaving very little to the imagination.

Rocking dramatic purple lips, the 24-year-old songbird looks gorgeous as she strikes a sassy pose for the lens of Tom Munro in a Versace studded lambskin jacket and skirt.

Riri opens up to the magazine about her controversial breakup with Chris Brown.

“It gave me guns. I was like, well, fuck. They know more about me than I want them to know. It’s embarrassing. But that was my opening. That was my liberation, my moment of bring it. […] Now you know that, so you can say what you want about it. I don’t have anything to hide”, Rihanna points out to ELLE.

First Look At Rihanna In Battleship

So let’s see, R&B singer Rihanna can rock red hair, pull off the tiniest bit of outfits and she’s also capable of turning gossip blogger Perez Hilton into her bondage puppy. So what else can she do? Well judging by the first still from Rihanna’s big-screen debut, our dear Riri sure as hell knows how to handle a big machine gun too.

A first look at Rihanna in her upcoming movie ‘Battleship’, sees the ‘Cheers’ singer appareled in camouflage and standing behind a rotary cannon. Sexy stuff.

We are going to have to wait until May 2012 to see the 23-year-old’s big acting debut. The Sci-Fi movie was directed by ‘Hancock’ director Peter Berg and co-stars ‘True Blood’ hunk Alexander Skarsgard and veteran actor Liam Neeson.

 

Rihanna Talks Father, Curves And Upcoming Movie In Vogue

Rihanna’s American Vogue cover and fashion spread was “officially” unveiled today. Since I’ve prior blogged on the Issue based on the leaked photos, let’s now focus on the designers she dons in the magazine and the all so important interview.

Of course I have already revealed that Rihanna wears a lace floral Chanel dress from their Pre-Fall 2011 Collection on the cover. Inside the red-haired singer dons a Donna Karan New York midnight-blue bodysuit , a Chloé one-shoulder mesh dress, a Lanvin silk dress and a Hervé Léger by Max Azria red cutout swimsuit.

Here are some of the highlights from her Vogue interview:

ON HER FATHER (RONALD FENTY) FEEDING HER TO THE TABLOIDS: “It really makes me question what I have become to my father. Like, what do I even mean to him?…It’s really strange. That’s the only word I can think of to describe it, because you grow up with your father, you know him, you are a part of him, for goodness’ sakes! And then he does something so bizarre that I can’t begin to wrap my mind around it. You hear the horror stories about people going behind people’s backs and doing
strange things, but you always think, Not my family. My father would never do that to me.”

ON HER FATHER SPEAKING TO THE PRESS AFTER THE CHRIS BROWN SAGA: “That was the first time…My dad went to the press and just told them a bunch of lies. Because he hadn’t talked to me after…that whole thing…He never called to find out how I was doing, if I was alive, nothing. He just never called. He went straight to the press and got a check. And now
he does it again”.

ON CUTTING HER HAIR IN 2007: “When I cut my hair, the whole sound changed, my style changed.”

ON HER BODY: “Over the holidays, and even during filming (her upcoming first feature film ‘Battleship’), I realized that I actually like my body, even if it’s not perfect according to the book. I just feel sexy. For the first time, I don’t want to get rid of the curves. I just want to tone it up. My body is comfortable, and it’s not unhealthy, so I’m going to rock with it.”

ON GOING TO THE GYM: “I hate going to the gym and doing it the old-fashioned way. I hate anything that’s too straightforward, too routine, too familiar. I get bored really, really quickly”.

ON HER FIRST ACTING GIG: “There were all these people, cameras, and huge cranes out in the middle of the ocean…And I got to do some stunts, which was incredible. I loved it – especially diving into the ocean”.
