The 66th Annual British Academy Film Awards (BAFTAS) took place tonight (Sunday, 10 February), at the Royal Opera House, in London.

Kate Middleton And Jessica Chastain Cover Vanity Fair

Kate Middleton and Oscar-nominated actress Jessica Chastain each score their own special cover for Vanity Fair‘s September seventh annual Style Issue.

Shot by Mario Testino, the flame-haired ‘The Help‘ star gives a big white smile, as she goes old Hollywood glam on the subscriber’s edition cover. A candid photo of the Duchess of Cambridge in a lavender Alexander McQueen gown, taken at the BAFTA Brits to Watch event back in 2011, appears on the underwhelming newsstand cover.

Both lovely ladies made the publication’s 2012 International Best-Dressed list, along with Prince Harry, Jay-Z, Diane Kruger and more.

The 65th annual British Academy Film Awards (BAFTAs) — the British equivalent of the Oscars — took place tonight (12 February) at the Royal Opera House in the UK. ‘Beginners‘ actor Christopher Plummer, ‘The Help‘ actress Octavia Spencer as well as silent film ‘The Artist‘ continued on their winning streak this award season, in their respective categories. Jean Dujardin once again upset George Clooney by clinching ‘Best Actor’, with Meryl Streep denying Viola Davis a ‘Best Actress’ win.
