Sleazy pop sensation Ke$ha makes history, not only by cleaning up her look, but by becoming the first living white female solo artist to cover hip-hop bible Vibe, for their October/November edition.

With her bleached blonde locks styled into retro pin curls, the ‘Die Young’ songbird fondles herself in a longsleeve lace Dolce & Gabbana dress on the Sarah McColgan-shot cover.

The 25-year-old singer tells the magazine the following on being a cheapskate:

“I’m not frivolous, I never go shopping. And I love cheap costume jewelry. An underlying theme [of my first album, Animal] was how you can be broke and still have fun. Money doesn’t determine whether I’m happy. But it’s really fun to get light-up shoes”.

Potty-mouthed rapper Azealia Banks and prolific DJ/Producer Diplo get lovey-dovey on the cover of the August/September Juice Issue of Vibe magazine.

Nicki Minaj Crowned King By Vibe

Following her controversial and critically-slammed performance at the Grammys, queen of hip hop Nicki Minaj makes a subdue appearance on the cover of the February/March issue of Vibe magazine.

Dubbed ‘Notorious King’ by coverlines, the 29-year-old rapper dons a crown over her fiery curly hair on the cover, while explaining to the magazine whether it’s hard being a woman in the industry.

“It’s not hard to get your way when it’s your way or the highway. People either follow suit or they’re not around. I don’t really like the sound of that, ’cause that sounds like a temper tantrum. I’m just very black and white when it comes to my business”, Nicki tells Vibe.

Kelly Rowland Juicilicious For Vibe

Kelly Rowland is having a real hard time holding on to her clothes lately. First she bared all for the ‘Here I Am’ album promo shots and likewise she’s looking juicilicious on the cover of Vibe magazine’s August/September issue.

In a candid interview with the magazine, the 30-year-old ‘Motivation’ singer talks about always being compared to Beyonce, especially in Europe.

“People still compare me to B over there (Europe). I said in an interview recently, ‘You know, if you guys would be a little bit more intelligent and ask me about myself we’ll have a much better interview.’ You can’t want a story from me and keep asking me about the past”, Kelly tells Vibe.

The bald-headed beauty dons oversized sunglasses and strikes a saucy open-mouth pose with hand on cheek on the cover of the magazine’s “Sexy Issue”.

The former stripper tells the magazine about her life after her high-profile relationship with rapper Kanye West:

“What am I supposed to do? Crawl up in a corner and die ’cause I’m not with Kanye anymore? Am I supposed to go back to the strip club and not take these opportunities that I have?”.

Amber also talks about her short-lived relationship with Reggie Bush:

“Me and Reggie [Bush] dated very briefly after Kanye…We were both each other’s rebound and we both knew that and were cool with that”.

 

M.I.A. Goes Arabian Hipster For Jalouse

Hip hop provocateur M.I.A adorns the cover of the December/January issue of Jalouse magazine.

Lensed by Romain Gavras, the 37-year-old singer channels a bird in an orange Armani coat, paired with a matching Kenzo dress.

For her editorial, which could have easily been taken during the shooting of her controversial ‘Bad Girls’ music video, M.I.A looks Arabian hippie chic in pieces from Versace, Azzedine Alaia, Dior, Paco Rabanne, Hermes and Sonia Rykiel.

With only a few days to go before her album ‘Unapologetic‘ drops, Rihanna takes to the cover of the latest issue of Billboard magazine.

The ‘Diamonds‘ songbird must really be allergic to clothes, as she poses in only her bra on the cover. The 24-year-old singer sports gothic purple lips, a statement neckpiece and cropped hair, while giving a come-hither look on her face.

Christina Aguilera Returns To Retro Roots For New Album

Following her electropop and robot glam, not to mention disappointing, ‘Bionic’ era, pop goddess Christina Aguilera appears to be going back to her retro roots for her upcoming seventh studio album — if this new vintage-inspired promo shot is anything to go by.

In the new still, ‘The Voice‘ mentor appears with vampy dark lips and a flower fascinator topping her signature blonde slicked-back locks. The complementary black and white art, that could have been easily taken from the 31-year-old singer’s ‘Back To Basics’ days, oozes classic jazzy vibes and was captured by the camera lens of Jake Bailey.

The first single off the album, rumoured to have been produced by Max Martin, is expected to drop later this month.

“No [laughs]. I miss the family vibe, but I don’t miss the routine at all. I was so bored doing the same thing every day. It’s a lot easier not being on a show, to live my life a little bit and do some of the others thing that I want to do, I don’t have to be back at a certain time”.
