The star of critically acclaimed English period drama ‘Downton Abbey‘ Michelle Dockery finds herself stranded in an unfamiliar era in the October/November issue of US Interview magazine.
For the 75% black and white shoot, taken by Boo George, the 30-year-old beauty takes to the street as a chic and free-spirited ’60s siren.
Michelle talks to the magazine about how the fashion has changed on season 3 of ‘Downton Abbey’.
“The third season is my favorite because the shapes are really changing. We’ve moved out of corsets, the waist drops — there’s a looser feel and it’s more adaptable to modern day. There are some things I wear on the show that I could actually get away with wearing today. There’s quite a leap from the second season to the third”, Michelle explains to Interview.
The ‘Anna Karenina‘ actress gets styled in retro-inspired designs from Prada, Stephen Jones, Celine, Tom Ford, Balenciaga, Azzedine Alaia, Roger Vivier, Dolce & Gabbana, Loewe, Philip Treacy and Louis Vuitton.
