The house of Dior is launching their first ever magazine and who better to cover the premiere issue than the French label’s longtime muse Marion Cotillard.
The ‘Rust and Bone‘ actress was snapped by Jean-Baptiste Mondino for the cover inspired by Dior’s iconic 1947 New Look design — a style that consist of sloped shoulders, articulated bust, nipped waist and padded hips. Coverlines read ‘A New Direction’, only appropriate since the house is now under the helm of Raf Simons.
Marion is wearing Dior’s original Bar jacket and flaring skirt from 1947.
