The much-anticipated Lady Gaga Vogue cover, for the all so important September issue, is finally here and in true Gaga style it’s over-the-top. Anna Wintour puts the 26-year-old artpop songstress on the cover for the second time, and on the magazine’s biggest issue ever — with 916 pages.
Prolific photography duo Mert Alas And Marcus Piggott captures a full-shot of Gaga, with a sultry pout and her hands behind her back, while sporting bleached cotton candy-esque hair as well as wearing a floor-length and off-the-shoulder Marc Jacobs gown. Gaga was styled by Vogue’s longtime contributor Grace Coddington.
Gaga is, of course, promoting the launch of her first fragrance ‘Fame‘ and she had to tell the magazine the following on the first ever black eau de parfum:
“The fragrance is called Fame. It must be black. It must be enticing. You must want to lick and touch and feel it, but the look of it must terrify you”.
For her editorial preview, below, the ‘Born This Way‘ singer poses nude, only topping her head with a Stephen Jones for Marc Jacobs hat.
