Hollywood‘s next big thing Rooney Mara has landed the cover of the January issue of Dazed & Confused magazine.
Photographed by Glen Luchford, the 26-year-old actress looks dead on the face, with her eyes lost in the distance. Rooney is given the high-fashion treatment with an edgy Alexander McQueen headpiece.
Rooney tells the magazine that she identifies a lot with a very dark Lisbeth Salander, who she portrays in David Fincher‘s ‘The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo‘.
“I was a pretty dark person to begin with. I have always been more drawn to darkness, and I think Lisbeth is very dark. I mean, she has a lot of pain but she’s not someone who is carrying around a hurt… There are no wounds left. She’s all scar tissue”, Rooney explains to Dazed & Confused.
