Kasabian Gets Skully For NME

Coinciding with the release of their fourth studio album ‘Velociraptor!’ this week, English rock band Kasabian covers the latest issue of British music magazine NME.

The Leicester-based group is featured in a futuristic yet haunting cover that sees two of the band’s members each holding a skull. Lead vocalist Tom Meighan explains the new album to the magazine, calling it the album they have been “waiting to make”.

“(This is) going to surprise some people. We’ve never had an album with massive anthems on. I know it’s going to be massive and if I’m wrong cut my head off”, Tom points out to NME.

Kasabian’s new album is set to debut atop the UK albums chart this week, giving them their third consecutive No.1 album in the country.
