Lady Gaga Brings Her Eccentricity To i-D Magazine

22 Mar

For their April Spring Issue, i-D magazine celebrates clothes designed to be put on, to show off and who better to grace the cover that fashion crazed Lady Gaga.

Gaga poses for the lens of photographer Mariano Vivanco for the “Exhibitionist Issue” of the magazine. Striking some pretty provocative poses that exhibit her body art, sensual skin and perky boobs, Gaga dons a blue latex Thierry Mugler coat with high-waisted pants throughout the pages of the magazine.

Her hair is peculiar as ever, while her nails are in stiletto format and her frantically baroque make up is flawlessly done. Gaga also sports her eccentric prostheses on her cheeks and shoulders.

It comes as no surprise that Gaga dons Mugler for her spread, since the shoot was directed by her long-time stylist and Mugler’s new Creative Director Nicola Formichetti. Gaga has been collaborating a lot with Mugler ever since Formichetti took over as Creative Director. Earlier this month Gaga walked the runway during Mugler Ready to Wear Autumn/Winter 2011/2012 show and also sports a few looks by the Paris-based fashion house in the music video for “Born This Way”.

Established in 1980 by Vogue’s former art director Terry Jones, i-D magazine is dedicated to fashion, music, art and youth culture.
